5 Minutes To Mastery — New Video On Using The Power Of Daily Rituals To Awesomefy Your Life

A few days ago I asked a pretty simple question: What do you do to get yourself into flow? More specifically what 5, 10, 20-minute ritual do you do everyday to kick start your mornings.

Well, the reason why I asked you this question is because I believe that daily rituals are what propel us to mastery. I made a video for you guys on this, so check it out below:

By the way, I loved ALL of your answers. They’re were definitely inspirational and I loved reading them all. Thanks for replying. I’ve got a ton of new ideas to try out now :-)

I liked how you compared it to taking a shower and how if you didn’t take a shower, or even shave or get a haircut for a while, then you would notice a little icky, rough, or unattractive state of mind.. Good comparison though.

Something so simple to remember, yet easy to forget. I deceive myself by thinking I can master the day without a proper mindset. Thank you, Vishen, for being a wheel in perpetual motion.

Sorry. I could not see your video. My internet connection is very slow now. But let me tell you that I pray to God Almighty daily early in the morning as Morning Prayer.

Wonderful video — just what I needed to be told. I give up so easily because everything gets boring very soon. But five minutes of meditation every morning that too without having to travel to any meditation centre is surely possible. Mostly it is adivsed that meditation be done for 30–45 minutes which seems impossible. Everything about the video makes you feel light — the language, clarity, simplicity and your coining enjoyable words. Sikkiladha Bhaira (I guess you are a Sindhi) God Bless you!

Love it! Making everything fun is such a great way to teach. Yours is truly a joyful path. Thank you for sharing and playing with us!!!! “Allowing’”, is a key word i picked up in your video (among many other gems). Happiness really is about allowing those around us and even ourselves to just simply ‘be’. It means acceptance, which certainly brings peace.
Thank you for sharing these thoughts with the world. I know I appreciate it :)
    Cheers to meditating! Namaste.

Thanks for that beautiful message. i especially appreciate the part about the plateau in the graph. It was a good reminder. we often to give up when we dont see or feel any effects or results when its actually around the corner.
So lets all keep at it and be the power that we each are. Thank you.

    Love and blessings

Thank you for this great video. This is exactly what I needed.
I have moved to a new city to be with my boyfriend and i have been very down lately. (missing my family, friends, job) I forgot how important it is to take care of your emotional self and to be grateful for what you have!
I am very lucky to have meet this incredible man and to live with him, i just needed to be reminded that I am in total control of my life, feelings and destiny.

    I can’t thank you enough!

Another one of your Videos, Vishen, that gently nudges us, and remind us of the truly inate ability that we all possess, within us, to direct and manage our own lives, in a pleasant and habitual manner; always inviting us to examine, and partake or share in wholesome and even endleas possibilities that lie within our grasp. I love you sincerity,.…your love of your fellow man, which simple but passionate quality sets you apart, but which inevidiably seems to be contagiously spreading through more and more of your readership. Love is like a flame, whose spark ignites, so warmly, the hearts and minds it touches. What a wonderful and delightful friend you are to all of us. Thankyou.

    Hey Vishen

Awesome reminder for one and all. I am sure you know what they say in life and business,

“What ever is easy to do, is also easy NOT to do”.

I do not leave the cottage until I have attained inner peace. Nothing else is as important as this. Rituals are powerful ways to get there. Brushing the floor, cleaning the dishes, the teeth, tibetan exercises, other exercises, the silva method, turning on the pc to make a daily plan, put your hands in a prayer position and press them to your heart chakra as you say thanks for today because you will see this gesture in many cultures b ut not in the business west. Each one of these rituals is important. Then you add some difficult tasks like language learning, break them down into tens. One of my rituals is to break down hard taks into multiples of ten. For instance 100 words a day is hard but 10 words X 10 words or some other task but must be 10 is much easier. Some of my rituals are not so good.

Thank you so much you are a great awakener and reminder. When I pray or meditate I always fail to get connected everyday but with this only 5 min.
ritual daily I won’t have any excuses for not practicing it everyday
thank you for caring and spreading so much love to all humanity!

Thanks so much Vishen. I liked everything you said.Abraham also said we never get it done and we can’t get it wrong. Thanks Godness for that. We all get lazy and it holds us back but no point in feeling badly about it…just start tomorrow fresh and begin anew! There is one thing that I always do now even when I do not get to the rest, I look myself in the eyes first thing every morning and I stay there until I see God.

    Dear Vishen,
I have watched so many of your videos and have been so inspired and my life is changing again due to Finer Minds. In the past I did indeed meditate invoke goodness, but as you said, I never mastered it. Your video today was just too awesome and when it was over I couldn’t help but laugh. Your enthusiasm and energy are so invigorating. You are so gifted and thanks for all of the giving. Also, you are just too sexy.

Indeed there is a sort of cleansing that takes place during meditation. I say cleansing because residues seem to be removed which causes one to feel light after. I desire to carry this access with me wherever I may be and acquire this state almost as second nature. or even primary nature; feeling light throughout the day.and able to recharge effortlessly.
