"Politics is your spirituality demonstrated" - Neale Donald Walsch
Recently we sent out an interview that has done very well. More than 20,000 of you downloaded the audio, and on top of that, more than 16,000 watched the YouTube intro video below.
Given that one of the most critical US elections in history is only a few days away, every American's vote is going to be a highly important one.
Hence, we were wondering what your thoughts on Neale's ideas are. It was obvious that he endorsed Obama, but the question is: do you agree with this?
Now, regardless of who you're going to vote for, tell us what issues concern you the most in this coming election. Tell us why you agree or disagree with Neale.
You can download Neale's FULL INTERVIEW HERE.
Your comments will be forwarded to him.
Leave them below.

Obama laat meer gevoel zien dan de andere kandidaat.Ik denk dat we daar meer mee gebaat zijn.
SO glad to hear someone who is thinking above the tv ads. The 'old ways' have just about ruined our country. We must find a new way to go....I think
Barack Obama has more of a vision for us than anyone I have heard before. First time I heard him speak I heard myself saying "I want to vote for this man".
Last sunday afternoon, I did.
Hello neil, god bless you.I have been praying and hoping for Obama to win.I live in Canada and i am fully aware of the huge corruption that is in our world and if we dont get someone spiritual and aware of what goes on we are looking at a one world order as i pray will Never happen.it is so sad that people need to have this control to feel good.I live in the light but i do know what goes on.What is the name of the book that has been banned in some countries please,i want to read it.namste. Unni
Thank you for the chance to comment.
I think I listened to about 15-20 minutes and then I turned it off because it was beginning to annoy me. Why?
Firstly you do not get to be a major candidate for President unless the Money Power puts you there and is able to manipulate you.
Secondly Obama's marketing team is using one of the oldest slogans in the book: "CHANGE", which in itself is absolutely meaningless.
So when we see somebody promising change we have to see what evidence there might be from his past to indicate that he might actually carry out changes.
And when we look - there isn't any.
Furthermore when we look at his mentors we find the same old people. Most notably we find Brezinsky who has boasted about having provoked Russia into attacking Afghanistan and who then played a leading role in setting up the "Freedom Fighters" led by Bin Laden, which we are told has morphed into Al Doo Dah, such as Al Doo Dah actually exists.
Obama's utterings on foreign policy indicate he will be doing Brezinski's bidding. He has said he wants to increase the size of the army, move more troops into Afghanistan to "fight for freedom and democracy" and wanted to bomb Pakistan last year. You can also expect more attempts to provoke Russia again into joining in a Euroasia war.
He has also sold his backside to the hugely powerful Jewish/Zionist lobby coming out with the same old garbage about the importance of Israel etc., etc.
Additionally he has no plans for dealing with the economic situation and will do what the bankers tell him to do.
I have spent many hours researching the money power and other powerful elites and in my view this man is being put there by them to continue the destruction of America. Their goal is for the USA to become just another third world nation with atomic bombs. Under Obama even more illegal immigrants will come into the country with even more rights, there will be even more wars, more borrowing and this will lead to the collapse of the dollar and NAFTA (with the Amero) or it will lead to part of a global bankers solution. ie the next step to a world currency.
McCain of course is no different but to think that Obama is actually going to make things better just because he speaks well is astonishingly naive.
I so enjoyed this interview and love the idea that there can be change in the world. All are not evil but evil is everywhere. For the first time in quite a few number of years I really hope that there is a God who wants the world to move from its present position.
Thank you so much for this
I have a slightly different experience from Neale's. I dropped, what I thought of as negative judgmental words for, I guess, more positve descriptive ones and found that this communicates almost perfectly with the whole mind. You ask yourself questions, as we normally do for that matter, but really get a nonjudgmental dialogue goimg by just asking questions and asking questions about the answers instead of judging or rejecting them until we have "interviewed" ourselves on the topic and make sure we understand the unusual answers we get. I think where he and I differ, though, is then I test out the ideas in every way I can think of, including, do they work.
A big key is how language works. Questions always need a subject and an object to solve for an answer, just like in math, 2+3=5. That is to say that questions like, "What is truth?" have to include truth about what. What is the truth about economics is too general as their are many truths about economics. In looking at economics we might have to realize that it's the economics of people that are the basis of our economy. People are the vital part of the equation that we have left out so economics is not an exact science mostly for making it all about math and theory of money. It's really more about people, all the people, not just the wealth. We need more trickle up economics, in other words.
Mind control and hypnosis use questions like, what is truth or what is consciousness that confuse and manipulate your mind. Consciousness is nothing without being conscious about something. That answers a lot of question there. You might even conclude that consciousness may be like the force field around matter and energy, it may come with the package as it can't exist alone.
The whole mind works on dual systems. Linear logic works with and against our visual logic. We have two view of reality from two eyes. A separted halves of our brain, a conscious and a subconscious. It's easier to break things down into two and three with the way nature has made us.
Dropping negative judgmental words is a reductionist technique that get us into an experience like Neale's. Try it, and you can access the whole mind holistically and see the truths we've searched for throughout history. More and more people are having these experiences that only the visionaries of old used to have, all tailored, todday, to our personal way of seeing things. Each a little different from mine, Neale's or anyone else's.
Why it's so vitally important is because, besides accesssing the genius within, which can do so much to solve world problems, you also reach the love and compassion, in there, as part of the package. You not only get the ability to solve so many world problems, but also a driving compassion to actually start doing it.
I am a Canadian following your election debates and coverage on CNN and Fox etc.Obama's speech last night impressed on me that he has a higher consciousness and hopefully will reduce the fear that is so prevalent in the U.S. and by extension the world.I agree with Neale Donald Walsch.
After listening to Walsch in this interview I was appalled at his blatant and shameless use of his position to endorse Obama. His books contain a God complex issue. Now, this latest is nothing more than far-left crapolla blended with new age silliness.
Walsch says there is a huge difference in how the 2 candidates hold the world. Thank heaven for that. Yes they come from a different place of mind. One issue and one issue alone speaks volumes about which candidate would uphold life. Abortion. Yes, that labels me a conservative. If I am a conservative, then I believe so is our Heavenly Father. Being wrong on this issue as a country has placed us in grave jeopardy as we watch the hand and protection of God being withdrawn from our great nation. That issue, not real or imagined Republican follies, and other liberal favorites such as the "freedoms" espoused by the likes of the ACLU has put this nation on a collision course with God Himself, in my opinion. The depravation and sin (oh, I'm sorry, according to the mantra of Walsch, there is no sin-sorry, he's wrong on that one, too.) , primarily sexual sin, abortion, pornography, etc...sin that is well beyond anything described in Sodom and Gomorra, will bring judgement upon this nation and the world. If you think not, then you either don't understand the prophecies of our day through scripture, or you don't believe them.
Walsch states that 60-70-even 80% of the world wants Obama to be president of the U.S. Of course they do, moron! 60-70-80% of the world generally hates America and wants her to fail, or worse, as those enemies do, who Obama wants to sit down with, hold hands and sing campfire songs. Ask Chamberlain how it went with Hitler. Being naive and irresponsible and pretending those who want our collective heads on a platter is very dangerous in this latter-day world. Get a grip man!
There is good news in America. We can repent and turn back to God and He will prosper us again. We have the choice. Sadly, history will repeat itself. It appears Obama will win the White House. With a super majority for the liberals, I fear for the future of this country. We will never get it right until we turn to the one being who can help-even Jesus Christ.
Wlasch seems to worship the 60's. He looks the part. So does the left in this country. The 60's was a dismal failure spiritually, economically and socially (with the exception of Civil Rights). I don't want a "Dude" in the White House. I want a man of honor and integrity. Obama has none of these qualities. Walsch's ridiculous comment that we, as a nation, should place our will into the great unknown which is Obamaland, is so stupid it makes reason stare. Think about it and listen to him again. Dangerous stuff folks.
Turn to the source of inspiration America. Not a quasi-pseudo spiritualist, self-aggrandizing crap. Walsch is wrong. So is Obama for America.
Many years ago I depended on Authorities, politial or spiritual) to make chicies for me. After realizing that their opinions were just opinions and not necessarily correct or incorect. I decided to make up my own mind after listening to the canidates promises, knowing that they were just promises, of what they would do in the future. I knew from past experiences that they were incapable of keeping all their promises, because it depended on other intstitutions to bring them forth. From that moment on I knew that some of those authorities were just dangeling "promisies". Most would stray from their previous prnoucments.
So I decided to make up my own mind regardless of what pundits expressed.
thank you for your books. i have read many of them, and i re-read the conversations with god trilogy from time to time.
obama is my choice:
1. economy. capitalism broke in 2008. if it is possible to fix it, we need new ideas with a long term outlook. i have appreciated bernake's resourcefulness and hope obama does.
2. health care. the health care system has been broke for many years. the 45 million without coverage need to be served. the ama and drug industry need to be revamped. proper nutrition, adequate exercise, regular meditation, and stress relief should be the cornerstones.
3. foreign policy. while terrorists need to be held responsible for their actions, the war in iraq was a mistake sililiar to vietnam. we need more diplomacy with both friends and foes.
4. energy. the oil industry is not our friend. the more incentives for alternatives the better.
5. environment. we need to join with the rest of the world to restore quality to the air, water, and land. each of us is responsible for the damage we cause.
6. taxes. dominance by the wealthy is a serious factor in the future peace of this country.
7. population control. a long term solution to the growing world population is necessary.
i believe obama better understands these issues, while mccain has too great an involvement in the status quo.

I doubt that it is because we are both from Oregon, but i completely agree with Neale Donald Walsch on Obama. Basically, the world needs someone of Obama's caliber now - now before it is too late.
I am so sorry to hear that Neale Donald Walsch is supporting Obama. I am not surprised. It is written in the bible...and it is time ...
Watch the ANTICHRIST unfold...just watch..
Senator Barack Obama is one of the finest people to come along in a long time. He cares about us and gives us hope. The time is right for a leader with his integrity and real concern for Americans. The previous administration has all but ruined America and the world. We need someone with Barack Obama's vision and strength to help us heal and grow again. He's intelligent and compassionate. He knows the constitution probably better than anyone in government, since he was a constitutional professor for 10 years. More importantly, he knows what it's like to be poor and work his way up to where he is now. What an inspiration to our young people!
This is a movement that is needed now. If things in our country are as low as they are now, I don't want to think what it would be like with another 4 years of trickle down economics and Bush warfare. I only invision Barack Obama in the oval office making decisions that will definitely change our world in a positive way.
We need him now. I think he should take over immediately after the election, before Bush makes more disastrous mistakes in the world.
For the sake of our country and our planet, please vote for Barack Obama on November 4th. Record numbers are expected. This is a historic election and you are making history. Stay in line, no matter how long it takes and make your vote count. If you can't stand for a long time, take a folding chair and water. It could be a long day. If you are disabled and can't wait in line, you must insist for curbside voting. They will bring you a paper ballot to your car. If you are in line before 7pm, stay there and insist on voting. They have to let you vote. It is your right. Smile and try to be patient. Make friends with those waiting with you, even if they are for McCain. There are alot of undecided voters. You could win them over if you are friendly and show them compassion. This could be a very pleasant experience if we make it so. Our realities are what we make them.
If you do experience any problems with voting, call the Voting Protection Hotline at 1-866-687-8683. Put this number in your cell phone in case you need it.
Happy voting.
Neale - listened to your interview and felt compelled to make some comments. First of all I understand your need to
'make nice' with the world. Yes it is indeed a big scary place. But the flaw in your argument and all other similar arguments is that you think that you can reason with terrorists and terrorism. Do you really think you or Obama can sit down with the president of Iran, (or any other terrorist) - the same guy who is lying to the world about not making nuclear weapons, who is actively engaged in sending and supporting terrorists to kill innocent civilians and Americans in Iraq, who has promised the world that he will "wipe Israel off the map" and have him say 'sorry - won't do it again'?
Do you not remember what the US and the UN wanted to do with Saddam Hussein? They gave him every opportunity to back away from the presidency and leave the country. His response? Continue to break every UN resolution that was implemented, continue to attack the US with surface-to air weapons, subvert the oil for food program that was implemented, etc. etc. Do you have any idea of the carnage this individual created? 10 year war with Iran - death toll - approximately 1 million. That's right. One million! Proven use of weapons of mass destruction on his own people. Over 5000 confirmed dead due to poison gas! Invasion of Kuwait because he didn't want to pay back his debt. He wanted to corral a large part of the world's and the US oil supply. Invasion included murder, robbery, rape, looting and destruction. When the US got involved - asked to help by Kuwait, he then opened oil taps in the Gulf - polluting the ocean. Deliberate destruction of over 700 oil wells - set on fire and polluting thousands of miles. I could go on and on. Tell me - what incentive does a terrorist leader have to negotiate? They and any other terrorist leader or nation will interpret negotiation as an admittance that their opponents' will is weak and that they are running scared. Do you not see open defiance of the Iranian leader to the rest of the world? Do you really want a radical terrorist nation to be equipped with nuclear weapons? Do you have any idea what will happen if Iran attacks Israel? If both sides have nuclear weapons what do you think would be the end result? Obama who is a nobody out of nowhere is going to save the world? Even Sarah Palin has more experience than he does. At least she is a Governor of a State. He is a junior senator and a lawyer with NO international experience. The problem with you bleeding hearts is that you think every terrorist you want to have a discussion with will be rational and fair. Nothing could be further than the truth. Have you not seen what has and is happening in Europe? It is called Islamification. Here's a tip: read the book by Mark Steyn - called America Alone. If that doesn't make you wake up and make you change the way you think then you are indeed a moron. Before you pontificate about international politics and your interpretation of the world you have a heckuva lot of reading to do. It is because of people like you who have weakened the US - in that you divide the country - exactly what Osama bin Laden wanted. It is called divide and conquer. If you had read up in history at all you would understand how that works.
Forget about global warming - what you and your kind need to understand is that this is now a battle of ideology - freedom versus Islam - which is not a country but a vicious murderous cult masquerading as a religion. Maybe you should read the Qur'an. Any body who is not Muslim is an 'infidel' and it is the duty of Muslims to kill all 'infidels'. This includes decapitation. So do not mention Mohammed and then say 'blessed is his name'. Their is nothing blessed in cutting the heads off of young people or shooting young children in the back. It is time to pull your head out of the sand, grow up, and educate yourself and other wimps as to what is really going on in the world. You have become another victim of the brainwashing and propaganda from the Muslim world. So in answer to the question - your endorsement of Obama - you are wrong my friend - dead wrong! You are willing to gamble the future of the United States on an inexperienced young lawyer who is more concerned with the sound of his voice than in being able to make hard decisions about the future of your country? This is not American Idol. This isn't about who is the prettiest president or who is the most eloquent. This is dead serious business and all you numbskulls without any knowledge of the seriousness of the predicament of the West and the US have a heckuva lot to learn. You and your 'tolerant' democracy will be manipulated into your own destruction. Pretty soon the calls of the Imams will be resonating over Capital Hill but rest assured - you will be 'tolerant' all right. Because you will have to be - as the Muslims will be in power. This is not scare mongering - look at Europe! Wake up! Educate yourself! Why isn't anyone asking Obama what 'change' means? What are the details? Why is nobody poking fun in talk shows or SNL about Obama? Why is he getting a free ride from the media? This is a guy who spent 20 years listening to the ravings of a violent reacist black preacher? And you want him for president? If Hilary Clinton attended Klu Klax Klan meetings don't you think there would be a huge uproar? Then why not for Obama? My god are you that simple? Good luck folks. Because you sure as hell are going to need it!
I really believe that Obama is very dangerous. Like a cool collected empty suite. He was profoundly influenced by Frank Marshall Davis (a confessed communist) as a young man and has campaigned for Raila Odinga (Odinga stole his election by killing thousands of people when he was not elected by the people). I can just go on and on but what's the point. The people with the power, the ones in control (who controls the media) will put in office who they want for what ever their agenda is. Do the people really have a voice? JFK was killed because he wanted to give the country back to its people. Ron Paul wants to preserve our constitution but is anyone listening?
Overall I enjoyed listening to the interview -- both the answers & the questions!
I do agree with most of the content: Obama is a significantly better choice for the next US President than any other candidates; in fact I've financially supported him twice -- 2 small but meaningful gifts, something I rarely do.
Yes, Americans can look at the glass half full or complain about specks in the water (or wine or whatever you have in your glass) either way we & people from other countries have to find ways to live -- to live with hope, action & sustainability for future generations.
And I believe USA has become who we are (both the + & - & the value neutral lifestyles) with the wisdom & hard work immigrants from Europe, Mexico, Canada, Africa, Asia & other places. Diversity can be scary for many who find differences uncomfortable/awkward or we embrace it to find pockets of common ground, common values, common lifestyles.
What will our grandchildren see, think & feel when they look back on these days?
I hope less cynicism and complaining - more examples of Stone Soup community fun.
Thanks for the interview and this opportunity to share with others.
peace & joy to all
I believe the quote on the antichrist. It says there will be two men, one stands in front of the real one, there will be a whole world currency such as the Euro. Who is Obamma Vise President. They will take religion out of the schools. They will meet with the leaders of the world. The world will be starving and see him as messiah. There will collapse of democrocy and he will stand up and take charge and make things happen. HIS Way. I read the books of the left behind, Then I read the book of Tribulations in the bible and there are seven years plus seven years of drought darkness and plague. Some of the bibles story has already happened. It is unfolding as it was fortold in the bible. I am not a very religious person but I certainly sat up and looked at this that is happening as the possible Antichrist of his disciple brain washed the multitudes to follow his word. The one thing that brought me to the stop now. The commercial that stated about Obama. He is the one! The only one I know is GOD himself and i dont look at Obama as a god, come on people wake up. This is just a man who sweet talk an eskimo into buying a freezer. Let us stay in our churches and follow jesus word and not look away from our saviour so we can all be here when the Rapture of the church happens and we can all leave here and not be subject to Obamma's CHange.
Obama, who has raised four times thew money from Wall Street that McCain has, who has not produced a valid birth certificate to prove he even qualifies to run for president, who voted for FISA and the Banker Bailout Bill, will change America, but not in the way people think.
As bad as Bush has been, within one year people will be remembering Bush with fondness, even. Obama will betray his base -- as Jimmy Carter did -- and turn America into a true fascist state. Just as Joe Biden who says within one year Obama's popularity will tank due to his "sound economic" decisions -- read: tyranny and painful austerity.
Not that McCain is any better: any major party candidate is already bought and sold to globalist interests. Still, McCain would be a one term president with a hostile Congress. Divided government is about as good as America can hope for right now. McCain could never sell much of what is planned as well.
I now consider Neale Donald Walsch’s materials quite suspect. Either he felt it was an opportunistic endorsement that would allow him to benefit from the media fawning over Obama -- all contrived -- or he was directed to endorse Obama by the PTB, or he is just totally ignorant of who Obama is and has revealed himself to be totally uninformed.
I respect everyone's right to view the world through their own lens, and it is not my intent to convince anyone I am right or they are wrong. However, it is difficult to endorse a candidate that supports coercion (stealing money from the citizens he chooses to steal it from) to enforce HIS vision on the entire country. While both Obama and McCain are good men (and I believe their intentions are noble), they both fail to address the underlying problems that have caused America to veer so strongly from the principles of our Founding Fathers. Only Ron Paul understood how the bankers, corporations and government have colluded to confiscate the money supply and impose their policies on all of us. A libertarian form of government (not one based on entitlements, legislating morality or beliefs, or invading other sovereign nations around the world) is the only one which enables everyone to flourish as they see fit. We need a rule of law (with restitution to those who are violated to the extent that is possible [murder and rape cannot really be UN-done, but reasonable provisions can be instituted], and the government needs to get out of those things it is failing so miserably at - engineering the economy, education, the prison system, building our infrastructure, health care, and a whole host of other things right down to delivering the mail. What statements people make in a speech only confuse people unless their actions and "being" are in congruence with those statements. One cannot endorse the taking of life (abortion, death penalty, invading other countries and killing innocent people), and call that a moral foundation or a new paradigm worth adopting. Once we as individuals operate from our "higher self", and expect that from others, all the laws that have been passed for years and years will be unnecessary. As Gandhi said, "we need to be the change we want to see in the world", and we should model that by coming from our spiritual center. It does not entail coercing others or imposing our belief system on them.
Where has Obama obtained his millions? This man inspires distrust in me. I do not believe his words and his demeanor is cockier than George Bush's. I also found your books to be trite and they did not ring true. Birds of a feather I suppose.
My biggest issue is the fact that my taxes will increase. I worked extremely hard working my way up the ladder to success. Before that I worked extremely hard to pay my way through college. Now I am going to get hit with a tax increase. Obama keeps changing his tune which concerns me. Initially, it was anyone making over 250M per year would see a tax increase. Now it is 200M and I have heard rumblings about 150M. This guy has only been in office 274 days. How is he going to run the country. He also has ties to a domestic terrorist. He is not the man to run the country. People in this country must stop drinking the Kool-Aid.

Hi. I live in Australia and am amazed at the obscene amounts of money wasted on your Presidential elections. I desperately want to see the US change its attitude to overconsumption, oil and climate change (plus gun use). Please explain how Obama can do what he wants and give you what we in Oz have as basic rights, ie. free hospital treatment, subsidised prescribed drugs for all, green energy, etc., when your politicians end up not voting your President's way, but what their individual State's lobby for. Your sub-prime crisis has affected us here as well, but my partner and I are taking it as an opportunity to learn to live within our needs, not our former means. This can only be good for the planet and our spirit.
I was horrified that a supposedly spiritual person such as Neale Walsh should be endorsing anyone let alone a candidate for president. How does Walsh know that his judgement re affairs are correct - it would seem that he wants us to think God is endorsing his personal judgemental bias - Most violence in history has arisen because arrogant people thought they knew Gods mind and what he wanted.
Walsh is re-enacting history and most of the worlds mind set with his `I am right and you are wrong` delusional thinking.
I will never be able to take anything this man say`s seriously again. I think power has gone to his head and arrogance has reared it`s ugly head which happens to many a man who may have started out with with good motives.
Just as an aside I think Obama`a wealth distribution policy smacks of a Robin Hood mentality which sees forced giving, which stealing from others is, as morally indefensible. If looked at in terms of compassion for the people who have an entitlement mentality, then it is not compassion as forcedcompassion is not compassion at all. Jane
Usually the press tells you everything about a candidate; why not about Obama? Where is the money coming from what he spent for his education, his campaign and everything else to make him famous? What about his connections to suspicious people? Some articles tell you and you would be aghast. For sure there are some non-christian forces at work. I am not a racist and I don't care if a Black or White sits in the White House, but I am scared about the relationships of Obama. I can only pray that my fears are not becoming true. And, Mr. Walsch, I respect you and like your books, but why do you expose yourself on this political matter???
If history teaches us anything, it that politicians who are the most charismnatic, the most eloquent, and the most appealing to the masses, are all too-often those who lead a country not to its finest hour, but to its greatest defeats.
I will be voting for neither McCain nor Obama because both are products of a corrupt system that on the one hand espouses democracy, whilst at the same time not being truly democratic.
The United States has taken the path that its founding fathers warned would lead to its demise.
I predict that Obama will win be a sizeable majority; his words are sweet as honey and being a people who seek instant gratification you will elect him in droves, but, barring his assasination (in which case he will beocme immortalised as a dmei-god), hiw words will prove be empty and his promises unfulfilling.
I also predict that ten years from now, (again, barring his assasination), it will be hard to find anyone who voted for the man. In 1972, Nixon won the election, with a 23.2 percentage point margin of victory in the popular vote, the 4th largest such margin in Presidential election history, yet rarely have I met anyone who would admit to having voted for him -- I believe this will be the samesituation with Obama in the decades to come.
Presidents need to be more then good at rhetoric and writing books. Presidents need to stay clear of associations with people of quesitonable charactor. Presidents need to have experience that transcends 18 months in the Senate with a 90% voting record of 'present' (not taking a stand of any sort). Presidents need to be supported by people who believe in the American philosphy of free enterprize rather then socialism. Presidents need to love what this country stands for with all its blemishes and not just represent the intellectual efete, the entertainment industry and those on welfare. Presidents need to know what its like to have middle class roots and mid west values instead of being the embodiment of affirmative action the elitism that comes from too much time spent amonst academia. God help this country should Obama get elected. God help Neale and his polly-anna 60's take on what makes the world tick. I suggest he get a real job frying chicken somewhere in the hope that he might just get it.
Wow! Am I disappointed by Mr. Walsch's lack of insight and critical thinking skills. I stand in apreement and applause with Alan, Olaf, David, Lynn, Mary Stremmel, S.Z., Trish, Jane, and Eva who apparently have the ability to analyze, integrate and synthesize information independently and, like me would like to keep that ability and our freedoms and responsibilities. Mr. Walsch's books will be reviewed with a new eye and likely leave my library.
It would appear that prophesy has started to take place in the things that are happening and about to happen.
Have you read Nostradames and Revelations?
I found this talk most enlightening. I felt my spirit soar. It made my soul sing. Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us.
May the Universe continue to embrace you. The world needs more people like you.
I was surprised that Mr. Walsch used his Hollywood influence to forward a political preference and therefore try to persuade gullible people to choose his side. I had been looking forward to a spiritual lecture and was extremely disappointed. I have no trust now in his opinion concerning things he might actually know something about.
After reviewing other comments it seems the two reactions are really "for" Obama or "against" Obama. Those "for" spout touchy-feely idealisms without any substancial evidence from past actions. To judge the truth about a man, you look at what he has done, how his past actions define what he now says, and then see if he is consistent. You look at his choices of friends and advisers in the past and how those choices will influence him now. The Obama every so adores does not have a history of helping a community become self sufficient, become better, except with hand-outs, so how can he help a nation? He does not have a history of listening to people with good motives, so how can he know what is good now? Mostly he is a smooth talker full of sound and fury, saying nothing.
Anyone who even entertains the notion that ANY political choices offered from the Republicans or Democratics is being duped and they are actually continuing the current problems. Rational perspective shows that BOTH parties are the problem. Yes we need change-that much is evident by the current state of reality, but the agents of change cannot come from the agents of chaos and carnage. I would expect better from Walsch! If he cannot see past the orchestrated mind-control and is sucked-in to their position, then he has not taken the dialogues to heart. His positioning with
Obamma makes me place his teachings lower in relevance and truth.
wow, such a mixed bag of emotions on this site. Well, I for one am happy to explore the unknown. None of us know what the new President will bring, as he is an unknown (how exciting!); all i know is I dont want more of the 'same'. This world needs change, and some people out there are darned scared of change, but i embrace it. I dont feel its naive to ask a man of vision to take us forward. You don't need a Phd in Economic History to know that visionaries change the mentality of the world, make it stable and thus confidence in spending goes up - everybody wins. Lets just hope he lives long enough to make that change he speaks about, that he sees, a reality. NONE of us know what tomorrow will bring, but one thing is a given; 'If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always had!' I'm with Neale on this one. Its what God wants...
Some of the "CRITICAL THINKERS" above really need to think about where their info is coming from. Seems to me that most of their arguments are nothing more than parroting of those that have an ax to grind. They are little more than feal mongers who have their own political adjenda. Somebody needs to tell the unimbellished truth. Obama may not be perfect, but at least he offers HOPE, something this country needs desperately now.The road ahead will be long and arduous as the world situations have taken decades to get to this point. It's time to take the first baby steps to a better life for all people everywhere. Quit complaining and DO something positive every day, say something positive every day, and think something positive every day. All this negativity is not helping regardless of who your choice for president is. Peace!
Everyone is entitled to their opinion - in fact - it it essential you make choices on your gut instinct (intuition). If we were to study for six years we still could not be sure which candidate would be best for America and the world. How could we know their true associations and all the hidden motivations and backers?
I'm not talking about listening to the media and being overcome with fear and trepidation. We are unduly influenced by the 'media' and some assume that what we read is true and unbiased. Don't think that these things don't influence you. The constant bombardment with all its distraction, is designed to do its job. Governments understand how we think and what makes us tick. They use this knowledge to mislead and bamboozle us every day.
Take charge of your own life and get in touch with your true feelings. Ask yourself from whence all the fear and loathing comes? Does it come from a loving source? The answers to ALL your questions come from within you. They don't come from Neale or from any other source except that within.
Neale's point of view does give you something to think about and this can be beneficial in many ways. However, any good teacher will tell you to "go within" and get your answers. Stop focusing on the fear! We're been conditioned to be SO negative it's a wonder any of us can even get the strength to get out of bed in the morning.
Wake up people and look to your own lives. You have to answer for you. You don't have to worry about who gets presidency. All you have to worry about is how you're doing with the life you have in the circumstances that are yours. Live well.
Look to those who inspire... focus on them for a change.
We're here to learn how to become more spiritual. We have a long, long way to go.
There is a lawsuit charging Obama is not a natural born American. He has not shown his birth certificate, his sister and grandmother say that he was born in Kenya and his Indonesian father sent him to school in Indonesia where you must be a citizen to go to school
Obama is speaking from his heart...a president cannot do everything himself he has to have the support of Congress..however, I believe Obama is the change in thinking we need...I believe he is sincere and I believe he is a person who respects others and respects "where" others are coming from in their thinking...I cannot remember the last time I voted...I believe in Obama and knew immediately I would vote for him...I am impressed with Neale's stand, I have no problem in telling anyone who I am voting for, it's called speaking your truth...well done Neale...
It never fails to amaze me that so many people in the USA see this country as the "good guys" no matter what we do. We can bully everyone, make treaties and break them, rob, steal, cheat, kill and expect people to love us for it. If someone with a history like the USA were to try and tell you what to do with your life you would think they were crazy. We need to confess our own sins, take that beam out of our eyes before we talk about the splinter in the eyes of other. Other countries may suck up to us but they are aware that we are hypocrites. No one will take us seriously until we clean up the mess in our own country. For the bible quoters Jesus said love your enemy (which really is another way of saying love yourself) and love your neighbor as you love yourself. If we were truly intending to do this there would be no abortions. Abortion is not the problem in this country. It is a symptom of the false pride and self righteousness which destroys life and love. Love does not judge. Love is not liberal or conservative, it is not positional, it embraces all. Maybe we should not call ourselves Christians but followers of the teachings of Jesus. We need more Jesusphites and less Christians. Who sounds more like Jesus... vote for him.
The mind-in-denial that mentioned Odinga having stolen elections and killed people in Kenya should know its status (does not know that it does not know). I live in Uganda. Americans attract the hate they get from other people – in general - because of their worldview (that of their institution) and actions ensuing out of that - I think that worldview is outdated and does harm to all including the Americans - in general. Many Americans are acutely aware of that fact. Of course American enemies act out of the same paradigm. Most people’s hope is that instead of stagnating, we may be catalysed under Obama’s Presidency to quantum leap to a more peaceful and humanity-loving paradigm, as our new selfish-worldview. Change is inevitable always and the sooner we acknowledge that the better. Change coming after more of the same (presumably a McCain Presidency) may be much more painful than that coming after Obama (if any that is). The fear of loss of Baal-ian power and influence under Obama has, thank God, made American "christians" show their true colours - in complete opposition to the key and true teaching of Jesus Christ - re-love; not surprising though. I agree with American Dr. Antonia Martinez (Dr. M) that they (and indeed the whole world community - all of us) need to grow up.
I know from my own experience that change can be frightening. There are no guarantees with change. All that is known is that it will be different. That was perhaps the best message Walsch offered. I tend to agree with others who believe that the major political parties do not offer real choices. Obama appears in many ways to be a bit of a maverick. Yet there are major corporations funding his campaign. His rhetoric sounds pretty good. But there are few details provided--now this might also be because until he gets into office, and gets to see the problems first hand and personal, he doesn't really know what he is going to have to be dealing with. I prefer Ron Paul because I know his positions on a great number of things. Even if I don't agree with all of them, I know what he is thinking. And he has been saying the same thing for a very long time. His philosophy makes sense. What annoys me is that I will probably vote for Obama because he is not as offensive to me as other candidates the Democrats have put up over the years and ultimately the bottom line is that this country needs change to happenand a Republican victory will only be more of the same as we have had for the past 8 years.
I agree with kate from Oz, but remember Neale as the author of CwG and THINK in that mode, let feel with your heart - this is the way you get the better solution for you - think WHY Neale initiated that?
Neale, I love you, you have changed my life and you can count on me, (not on that site with those 1000 (I live in Romania, and for us, those contributions and the payment techniques are somekind (new word?) prohibites), but We ARE with you as you are). We think that you, as a Messenger (that's your definition), are enabled to give us an option (a message - CwG, for example) - but the choice is in our garden. We don't live in USA, but I think that USA is, somekind (new word?), leading "the way" - to prosperity, to abundance, to "democracy", to poverty - to Everithing! - in the whole world - wtf - so We go on your hand and consider Obama the next point for the Change (condidering that a black president is the first step for that), what about a yellow female as a pope?
I had misgivings about Obama from the start. Then Macain threw away his chance for any attempt at the presidency. Well, that was an eye-opener! The post election appearance of Michelle Obama and her black widow dress sumed it up. We are in a world of trouble here folks, and I believe now is the time to foretold of...i.e. "The end times". And to think I thought he might be who he proclaimed himself to be! I guess we will see. I so hope all is not lost...
Barack Obama is the antichrist but Ron Paul is the savior!?!?! Surely, you jest.
Who are you people???? There is very little Love in these posts and the negativity is palpable. I'm having deep cognitive dissonance for all the dark thoughts, dark opinions and alas, even darker hopes being expressed on a site dedicated to positive, loving thinking, positive, loving action and making a better world. Yikes! 'FINER' Minds???? I think not. Why are you even here????
If some of you trogs want to leave in some fantasy escape, be my guest and don't let the door hit your arse on the way out...sheesh. No wonder humanity is experiencing so much misery, you people are begging for it with your putrid, hateful beliefs and bringing forth this sewage that goes with them into physical manifestation.
All of the earth is suffering for it...what you put out is what you get back...seeing only a nightmare is making it real. The ugliest thing about it is that you seem to revel rolling around in this septic pit of negativity.
Please do go somewhere else and take all your mental garbage with you and leave this planet for those of us who appreciate the beautiful gift from the Creator that it is. If you aren't part of the solution then you are the problem.
I'm not so spiritually advanced to make all nicey, nice with you, and have absolutely no qualms about expressing my disgust with the thoughts and ideas you spew. They irritate my very soul, First Amendment notwithstanding.
Where's the moderator for this site anyway???
P.S. Michelle Obama's dress means we're "in a world of trouble????...I think Vicki, among others here, is off her meds...BTW, Neale has every right to express his support for whomever he wishes, and ask those of like minds to support that same person, he's not a preacher in a church.
Hi, from New Zealand. The whole world has been following this election. It doesn't matter to me what colour the new president is, but what eminates from him. As I see and experience it, he projects honesty, fairness and intergrity. He appears to look at situations as a whole and from many angles. I feel he is nobodys fool or puppet and he stands for the common man. I believe he really wants to make a difference. Yes he has made big promises and I feel he will do his best to achieve these. America has lost amazing credibility, particularly over the last 8 years, and it is time for a new vision, a new way forward. Of course he cannot do this on his own, it is up to all of us to contibute to make this world a better place for ALL who inhabit it. Each and everyone of us, can make a huge difference. Maybe we can truely move forward in peace. And as one person buts it, BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE IN THE WORLD. I feel this is an exciting time to be alive, and maybe the antichrist has already been, it would be certainly seen that way by the majority of the rest of the world, but at least Al Gore was able to get out and make his movie. Change is exciting and I feel we have a real possiblily now, to live the lives we were mean't to live. Belive you me BARACK OBAMA has the majority of the world behind him and I have no doubt that he will make a big difference.
WITH PEACE AND HARMONY,
JOARN X
Greetings from the UK
It is interesting to note that the most venomous and negative comments written here have two things in common. The first is that they are all comments from Americans and secondly they are all fundamental Christians.
These ignorant and myopic views simply confirm the need not just for change of leadership in the USA but for a change in the consciousness of its people so that they can catch up...yes I said catch up with the advancing consciousness of other more liberal thinking nations.
Barack Obama knows that the USA is not what its people thinks it is having been conditioned through isolation and his desire for change is global change that includes the USA as a partner of the world and not its guide and master.
Fantastic stuff Neale, you are in the One Mind!
Is plagiarism your spirituality demonstrated, too?
Am in total agreement with all of Alan's comments.
hi! The babes are here! This is my best site to visit. I make sure I am alone in case I get too hot. Post your favorite link here.
