It doesn’t come as a huge shock when research shows a direct link between kids’ happiness and spirituality. More spirituality = more happiness. Now a new study out says the same thing with tweens and children in middle childhood.
Often spirituality gets a bad rep. The stigma that surrounds it often conjures up images of pagan rituals and wayward heathens. But this is changing and science has our back.
The study conducted even showed that religion had no real effect on children at all. But when you really think about it, it all makes sense. Why wouldn’t encouraging your children to pursue their dreams, get in touch with themselves, and be kind make your kids happier?

“Spirituality, Not Religion, Makes Kids Happy”
The link between spirituality and happiness is pretty well-established for teens and adults. More spirituality brings more happiness. Now a study has reached into the younger set, finding the same link in “tweens” and in kids in middle childhood.
Specifically, the study shows that children who feel that their lives have meaning and value and who develop deep, quality relationships — both measures of spirituality, the researchers claim — are happier.
Personal aspects of spirituality (meaning and value in one’s own life) and communal aspects (quality and depth of inter-personal relationships) were both strong predictors of children’s happiness, said study leader Mark Holder from the University of British Columbia in Canada and his colleagues Ben Coleman and Judi Wallace.

Just as no spirituality in a persons live leaves something out, so will no religion leave “something” out. To simply be happy is not an end to itself, if you are then not saved…Spirituality AND religion to me is the way to go, then we are truly and completely whole, happy and saved. One cannot and should not be independent of the other. GOD gave us our mind to use, explore and improve and the word siprituality by itself does not scare me.
When a door closes on me,i ask myself what if i can use my mind to change things around.I lost a lot of money on my IRA but i also got it back and to the point of having more then i had before.Our thoughts are the real power that we have.To use this power,we have to be aware of our thoughts at all times.If you change your thoughts then you can change your life.I am not were i want to be,but i am getting there.Know what it is you want and EXPECT it.

I also want to share something here i discovered. I went to a workshop in early April by a man who is called Raymon Grace. He taught us, his 35 students, how to work with energy through an old art called dowsing. I have been experimenting with this now the last 3 weeks or so with results. So far I have helped myself with be healed, helping a woman with a serious disease become well and even a horse has been healed!
Dowsing can be used for a multitude of things such as relationships, prosperity(whatever you consider prosperity), negative entities, guidance to make the right decisions from what realtro to use to what brand of shoes would be best for your feet, and all inbetween. You can take problems and adjust the frequency to help change the energy within that problem so you have it solved for your highest good. It

This man, a wonderful energy healer, has been teaching how to work with energy for over thirty years now, has been a speaker for well known new age conferences. This is a simple mountain man that learned from the Indians how to harness and work with energy. I highly recommend dowsing and learning from this wonderful teacher.
By the way, dowsing is done using a pendulum or bobber. Those are only tools. Easy to do. It’s the energy you are working with along with tapping within for that wonderful wisdom you have to answer your questions and resolve your situations in the way that is needed. I hope you look into this. It could change your life and the lives of others.

I think you should discribe Spirituality in more detail ( Spirit what is it) and the process of using it. ( Spirituality)
I think spirituality and religion complete each other. If religion had more soul or was expressing more values it would support the development of spirituality. Spirituality on its own can be fine but with a living, caring,flexible and respectful religious expression it can be even more strengthening and create greater happiness in familiies and in communities
Trusting your inner wisdom;a healthy lifestyle; having compassion and understanding for people different from ourselves; a healthy scepticism about our consumer society; appreciation and gratitude and a multitude of other good things can help children to find joy in being themselves — whoever they are — and in their surroundings and hopefully in their circumstances. If all of this is spirituality then, yes, it can help enormously. Many religions contain these elements and help people too.

I agree — using the pendalum is awesome — I remember laughing when my mother used the needle and thread to ask question some 60 years ago — now I do not laugh when I get my answers.
She is probably up there with the angels having a great laugh at me.

I have read about using the pendulum but never tried it though, would someone kindly explain how does it work, from my limited readings, i understand that you can control the movement of the pendulum using the power of your mind, but how do you use it for healing and taking decisions.

I’m a senior Lecturer of the New Science named “Psychorientology” since 1983 for the Indonesian territory
I’ve a huge interest and have studyed “Para-Psychology” where the phenomenon of ‘Spirituallity’ has been researched intensily with evidences on a ‘subjective’ performance with the same strenght as has been investigated on ‘objective’ matters.
I’m from childhood on influenced by the surrounding as a ‘Muslim’ at a moderate condition. But since I was involved in the
new Science as mentioned above, I’ve another look in my vision of religion. It seems that to ‘spreading’ the word of religion has been influenced by force and in the Islam, other religions were imagined like ‘atheism’. This has made religion being a phenomenon that hasn’t contribute peacefull performance to the religion’s life, where there exists a lot of diversification forms that doesn’t give enlightenment to human kind.
My own perception of Life and how to exploit it has been change drastically, while this performance has made others, including my own family, opening their eyes and being overwhelmed what spirituality is all about. My vision at this moment is, that spitiuality is the path that direct us straight to the manifestation of the Creating of the Universe. Because we’re constructed as from ‘vibration’ into matter.
And the “Universal Law of Reciprocation” is like the ‘karma phenomenon’ and has been accepted so far to be aware and alert of its function in monitoring all human beings without any exeptions. When avery created human being could perform with a ‘Mind Control’ performance at an “Alpha Optimal” state, then I’m convinced that the shape of our World will have another look. There’ll be a higher intelligent vision of all kind of information wich source is coming from ‘the other side’, meaning the ‘subjective dimension’, and that the ‘objective’ one will perform in accordance to what should happen as initiated through the subjective dimension.
It’ll be then perform an enlightenment of the construction of Life itself that is always based on a ‘positive’ outlook rather than the chaotic vision that now is evolving, because of our limited function using only ‘Half’ of our potential power when using the utmost balance between a ‘conscious’ and subconscious’ kingdom.
I’m convinced that this is the way to perform at the utmost positive plane, that nowadays has been raped in every way at any kind of misleading and negative performance. Could you all feel what I like to explain about Life and the way to execute it? Of course, apart from waht has been invented by Jose Silva, there’re other similar systems with the same purpose. Peactice has proven that the Silva one has a wider persepctive of techniques to be used after implemented through guidance at a short coursework, that seems for them who has learned anything (intelecual and pseudo spiritual) through a long time, like the ordinary meditation system that’ll produce enlightenment after a period of at least 15 years.

It has been a long time ago that I had made a comment on what Life and Mind is all about in this section. We have to learn more and more to know our real connection with the , meaning our initial creation that has been executed trough the Cosmic Forces in the Universe. One of our senior alumnus Mr. Gerald O’Donnell has made himself growing beyond his own talent and knowledge about the Universe and our connection to it.
This is aphenomenon that could be obtained through a very deep and profound vision based on DR. Jose Silva’s invention. When you know what he knows, well the path is open for you to return to the source of our creation no matter what will happen with our “odd World”. Like every time at a certain period that couldn’t be count with human perseption, stars and planits will have its desctruction and there will be born new stars. That time will come definitely.
Because of our unlimited existence in the Universe through the form of a , we will follow what could happen after a ‘Multi Million” year. Believe it or Not, it’s up to your perseption. My advice is be prepared for it and you will be the happiest human being on earth.
