Get Fit, Get Healthy, And Look HOT — Why Diets Fail And Yoga Works

YouTube Preview Image

Before I go straight into the details of why diets fail and why yoga work, I want to introduce you to someone uber awesome and super cool. Her name is Nika Florek and she used to work at MindValley. I loved working with her but it wasn’t before long she decided to follow her passion: yoga.

So she took the leap, followed her love, and has never looked back since. And I couldn’t be happier for her :-)

Slim Yogi

Her story’s pretty cool actually. Like most people trying to get fit and lose weight, she went on the fad diets, went to the gym, but still nothing worked. And if it did, it only worked temporarily. This probably would’ve gone on for some time had it not been for a totally eye opening trip to India where she discovered her love for yoga.

I’m sure by now you’ve heard of all the buzz around yoga, but it’s for real. Just ask Nika (or look at her — she’s fit!).

That’s why she wanted me to pass on this special report to everyone at FinerMinds — to share the wisdom and truth she’s gained about weight loss. Think of it as an expose on the weight problems we all face and how you can turn your life around with yoga.

Great report and I can’t deny there are some facts in there that shock me! Especially the parts about dieting and the weight loss industry. Just click the link below to download it. You might have to do the whole “right click, click save as” thing if an automatic “Save As” window doesn’t pop up.

Years after her trip to India, Nika’s still living her passion. In fact, she’s now known as the Slim Yogi because of how she’s taken yoga and transformed it into an awesome workout that targets both weight and holistic health. You can check out her site here » Awesome content on yoga and her specially developed 4-pillar Yoga System for weight loss and health.

And even if you’re not looking to lose weight but to just be healthy, I really recommend checking it out.

About your ad, uh, I mean “report”: When the fine print states things like “results not typical” then you know the odds are it’s not going to work. Break that down…RESULTS (which is what you’re looking for and paying good money to experience).…NOT…typical! Meaning, “don’t be surprised OR get mad at US if you don’t experience any”. A multitude of spiel cancelled out by one tiny sentence *lol*

Hi! Quickly browsed through this post and Nika’s website as I am totally in love with anything heatlh/fitness related. As a holistic health counselor I’ve learned a great deal about how our diets & activitiy levels affect our daily lives. I find it so disheartening that there is so much misuse of information out there. What it comes down to it is that a majority of the companies in the health & wellness industry (big pahrma, foods, books, exercise programs, etc.) are out to make big $$$ by playing on people’s weaknesses and the expectation that the only way to live happy is thin. And I think it totally sucks that the government plays into this as well (i.e. the food pymarid is all about supporting agriculture-meat & dairy farmers-than supporting a healthy lifestyle). Our relationship with food & exercise goes far deeper than those two factors alone. The people in our lives, our jobs, how we handle stress, how much fun we have, etc play equal roles in how healthy we are. I really like Nika’s 4 pillars as it includes some factors of healthy living that naturally trickle down into our food & exercise relationship.

My only concerns with trying something like this are that I’m 72 and have arthritis. There are no instructors in my area and I’m not sure how good they would be if there were any. When I was younger, I would have just ordered the information and started working on it. Now I feel like I need to think about it first. I’m trying to get fit and maintain the weight I’ve lost. Like I said, I’ll have to think about this and do some research on wheather it will make my arthritis worse or injure my joints.
