This is a pretty intense video. If you don’t know who is running this, it’s Byron Katie who has pioneered a method of self-inquiry simply called The Work to solve deep seeded emotional issues and help put trauma to rest.
The process, known as “turnaround” involves asking these 4 questions:
- Is it true?
- Can you absolutely know that it’s true?
- How do you react, what happens, when you believe that thought?
- Who would you be without the thought?
In this video, you can see this being done and what it will accomplish.

I just tried the turnaround process. It is great. it is very timely as i am feeling low in my work. Everything I do seems to be not understood. I always try to search in anything I do is to ask, is there something better find it. And many times I find it. But to make people to see what I see is something else. I get frustrated, feel hurt and sometimes tired. Going thru the process I can see now the positive side in me and that is the gift of patience, the love of God in my work, and I know God is with me to see my work through. I believe God did not make me an Inventor for nothing.
Hi Gabrielle,
I have been using The Work for about 7 years. I came across it by chance and had an Opportunity to see a presentation by Byron Katie in England. Since then I have been applying it to myself and using it to work with my coaching and seminar clients to great effect. A simple process which takes minutes to apply, but produces results which last a lifetime.

The enquiry process with the turnaround has been a gift of invaluable dimensions. From meeting KT so many years ago at her School for the Work, attending intensives and workshops, listening to tapes, doing the worksheets and introducing others to it, I am in gratitude for the simple yet profound changes ongoing in my life. It is a touchstone that keeps me on track so to speak, the process has becomes a vital part of living, all at my own pace, readiness and willingness. Like KT has said in the past, it’s like a happy virus that keeps undoing our beliefs. When the world would show us how wrong everything is, what an amazing thing that The Work is a tool for compassion.
