Tony Robbins And The “Invisible Forces” That Motivate Us

So what makes us do the things we do? Is it money, status, emotional needs, or the hot girl (or boy) at the bar?

Check out this awesome talk as Tony Robbins discusses in depth why it is we do the things we do. This motivational guru has spent decades trying to figure people out, making our whys his business. It’s pretty interesting to get a glimpse of what goes on through our heads.

Best part is, Tony Robbins high fives Al Gore who’s sitting in the front row.

Tony Robbins is absolutely right. I don’t have a different opinion from his. In fact, I’m in awe of the fact that he was able to articulate it so well.

Brilliant, motivating, inspiring video. Robbins comes across much better live than he does in his books — I particularly like the 6 key aspects of being human bit — it definitely resonated. Good video!

I was interested in the topic, however, I could not continue to listen. Everyone is not into profanity, and I am one of them. I feel it is low and degrading to take such high minded information and degrade it with profanity.

Please consider some people believe in God and I would not talk that way before my Creator and I won’t allow anyone else to talk that way before Him in my presence. Bring the talk up without the profanity, it is not necessary. I would love to hear all that Tony Robbins has to say.

    Thanks

It’s a shame that you are so judgemental. Judging others is what gets the world into wars in the first place. Tony Robbins is not personally disrespecting you or God but ‘expressing’ his personality.

I neither condone nor condemn the use of profanity but find the world would be a much better place if we can learn to overlook what ‘we’ see as faults in others and just love them for who they are and what they have to offer to others at this time in their evolution.

Sadly you may have missed something wonderful. We would do well to examine our belief systems and see why we feel we are superior to others. No matter what our beliefs, none of us is superior or inferior to the other.

I do not know what faith or beliefs you have but we do not have to agree on everything to care for one another. In fact, it’s our differences that make life so challenging and interesting.

If God could speak to each one he/she would tell us that we ought to love one another. There are NO conditions put on us by God. We do not have to be perfect to receive the love of God. We are all loved.

Loved the video. I wonder if I can get hold of the film/video of the conflict resolution mentioned right at the end? Anyone know how, or have a copy?

Absolutely amazing! I worked for 3 years now for a low paying job. The motivation really is it allows me to help others realize and take a different view from their self-defeating attitudes. To help others raise themselves up. At the same time, I get to benefit from the other end, to learn from the achievers and passion-driven to excel. So, thank you for pointing out the 6 universal needs.

The truth is, what you focus on…you get. The amazing part is, you get everything you need. There are always a new opportunity. Choose well. Live well. Laugh often. Love much. Accomplish much, big or small. Relax.

I am thankful for this video, it was a real eye opener, we all at some point in our lifes need to take a step back a deep breath and look at where we are and really try to make the changes that we need to move foward. I have alot to be thankful for and I have alot to atone for. I want to live well Laugh often and sing like no one is in the room and I want to love much much more and forgive just as much. Helping others is the anwer to all our callings. Family is where it all starts.
