Seems a bit silly we never study love. We study science, economics, biology, literature but never something as important as love.
So that’s why I’m showing you this little video Brian made with his girl, Alexandra. Check it out. They’ll be going through some of the BIG ideas on love that’s sure to make you a better person and a lover
Cute with a great message.
A few days ago there was a PhilosophersNotes Valentine’s Day Special. The deadline for it was Feb 14th, but I managed to get them to extend it for all FinerMinds readers till Feb 19th!
Order by then and you’ll get 2 PhilosophersNotes MP3s. One for you and one for a loved one. Plus you’ll get access to the online Membership Site.
Thousands have already changed their life with PhilosophersNotes. So why shouldn’t you? I’ve been reading a Note a day and I love it!

I loved the video on love. And, I love reading your blog. Vishen, you are a gift to the planet. Thank you.
The video may be “cute” but it is full of big ideas on love. As a Virgo and very critical and logical by nature, I am learning after 5 years, what works so well with business and numbers can be seen as cold and blaming in an emotionally charged relationship-when I think I am giving a non-biased statement-he thinks I am “not on his side”-I am going to try to do the Daily Appreciation with my partner and hopefully this will soften my “critical” nature
It’s great to get feedback on both how we give criticism and how we receive it. Until the day I can ‘eat’ all my projections I would love to get criticism that I can comment on and appreciate.
Wonderful post Brian. Cute moments on the heights!! Yes, again it shows, what you preach, you practice!! Would help many, to learn the real life practices and realities through your live videos. Thank you.
Cool video…and Brian, your Alexandra is gorgeous!
On a side note, the newsletter sign up pop-up is a bit annoying. I’m already subscribed and it popped right over the video in the middle of it…
you are awesome!
A Tad bit late, but here’s my comment. Great suggestions from a couple with only 3 years together. My suggestion, never go to bed without saying I love you and a kiss. This from a guy who will celebrate 50 yrs with my bride Betty on March 19th. Oh yeah, another bit of wisdom on making it to 50; “Roll with the punches, stay off the ropes, and dance as fast as you can!”
Hi
Nice to meet you …
Nice video — but I am bit ahead of you. My one and only loved one died on July 4th, 2008, after 63 1/2 wonderful years together, and I feel that she will be waiting for me at the Pearly Gates. It can be done.
sooooo great that you guys met. both of you are gorgeous.…:-)))))))
Yep…
One learns as the relationship grows…
It is when the self pride and the ’ I Want’s ’ get it the way, that it tends to grow sour…I’ts about giveing and not worrying about the recieveing…It’s understanding and being able to put ones self into the other’s shoes…
Don’t let media/fashion/love of money get in the way of love. All in good time, but take the time…
THERE IS !!! A PROPER BALANCE … One can love one’s self , without the overkill of it !!! More respect…
Thank you for the video! I really appreciate it! My boyfriend and I really appreciate the scholars notes as well!
Real love is understanding and appreciate ones quality ones weakness and faults. And by knowing that we do have the quality of our faults and loving them just the same. ( gsd )
There is a woman I am making a conscience effort
to ‘win’. We live in a restricted environment separated so prohibited from being in each others
rooms. But I find myself doing the things you are recommending. So I feel grateful I’m not trying too
hard or seeming desperate. Thank you for sharing!
It’s really nice.
i think this leaves out alot of stuff and it hink that it also implies loving someone dearly whether or notbecause of their weaknesses and faults and loving them anyway. that’s kind of what i thought he meant by this.
i hope this is what you guys are trying to show to others celebrtating their valentine’s day wioth someone htye cherish. but ya, this is a great message.. thanks for being so real!
faith
Well done. I appreciate the advice — it has helped me focus on what is important in my relationship. Cheers!
