Sean Stephenson’s Magic 6-Word Question To Maintain Perspective And Gratitude

Ever think to yourself, “Oh my god, this is just the worst!” or have you ever said, “This is the worst day ever!”

Yeah, we all have days like that when we feel like everything’s out to get us or nothing seems to be going right. A long time ago when MindValley was going through a rough patch I had thoughts like that. But all I needed was to step back and realize how lucky I really am. I have the opportunity to start my own business with one of my best friends, do something I love, and work for myself. Not everyone gets that opportunity. And a few years later, MindValley is the best it’s ever been!

So instead of making mountains out of molehills, let’s step back and ask ourselves this question:

In five  years, will this matter?

Those 6 little words from Sean Stephenson will give you awesome insight and keep you levelheaded day in day out. Check out the vid below for his story and how you can keep your head above water and truly be grateful for the life you lead.

    Dear Sean,
Greetings and Thank you for sharing your story.
It helps to look at our “problem” with a different perspective.
And to realize that it’s nothing compare to what someone else might go through.
My teenage son Alex has a nice word for when I’m having “a not so good time“
He tells me” to CHILLAX Mum”, as in chill and relax.
Yes it does bring a smile on my face, and I’m able to face whatever
    with much more calmness.
    Many blessings to you.
    Love Light and Laughter

Thank You So Much for this perfect reminder. I have always felt grateful for everything good in my life, and never thought of much of being grateful for the little trivial situations I experience from time to time. Now, I am feeling very thankful for it all :)
Wishing you a wonderful day; you sure made a difference in mine.

Thank you Sean. Your video is just what I needed this morning after a rough start right after I got out of bed this morning. The day seemed to be on a fast downhill spiral long before 8:00 AM. I got online, saw your video and now I’m in a much better place. Thank you for saving my day.

Loved the video, Sean! A great reminder to stay present in the moment — with perspective! Not to “wallow” in the moment, but take an objective look. Those “reality checks” are worth millions in my book!! Thanks so much!

TY Sean for reminding me that problems are only quests waiting to be solved and the ones I can’t handle can always be handed over to God to take care of. He is up all night anyways…LOL…He never sleeps or slumbers. Amen!
