Alright guys, I just need a moment of your time.

A few months ago I met a man who has broken every stereotype out there, demolished some of my own limiting beliefs, and is literally making the world a better place.

And he's never set foot on the ground. I'm talking about Sean Stephenson. He's been touted as as the next Tony Robbins and for good reason too. This man is AMAZING. Let me tell you a lil' story about him.

He was born with every bone broken and by the time he was 18 he had already fractured 200 bones. I can't even come to terms with that kind of pain. Told that he would die at birth, this man is undeniably one of the funniest, most inspiring, and caring people I've ever known.

sean stephenson bill clinton

He just has this way with people, this energy that you can't get enough of. I'm not kidding when I say he's like a magnet.

He's worked with and inspired people like Bill Clinton and Tony Robbins.

Editor's Note: Sean Stephenson is a man who against all odds has spread love and motivation to millions in schools, companies, hospitals, prisons, and other federal agencies.

On top of that he's made appearances on Oprah, CNN, The Discovery Health Channel, WGN, and CBS News, and in The New York Times.

Sean is also a board certified clinical psychotherapist and a Certified Trainer of Neuro-Linguistic Programming.

I even had him come all the way from the States to Bali to talk to my team about personal growth. This is how important this man is.

Sean's an amazing guy and we really want to share his love and message with the world. This is why we're doing an exclusive FinerMinds 3-part video series called Making Love Not War - How To Create A Deep Attraction featuring Sean.

Sean will take us on a strange and colorful journey through our minds, our belief systems, and what it takes to create a perfect relationship. And yes, love and sex are involved. But trust me, this is just a tiny fraction of his knowledge.

The first part of this video series, as the title suggests:

Shattering Your Negative Beliefs - The Growing Pains Of Love

His message is clear: You are worthy and capable of love. But you just might be perpetuating problems for yourself and attracting the wrong people. This is how to shatter your negative beliefs, conscious or otherwise.

Segment 1:

Segment 2:

Segment 3:

Segment 4:

After you watch this video, I want you to tell me exactly what you think. The message, your own beliefs, and how you feel about attraction. Just drop a comment down below.

Editors Note: Part 2 of the Series: Making Love Not War - How To Create A Deep Attraction was already published on  FinerMinds blog. CLICK HERE to watch it >>

Cheers,

Vishen Lakhiani

PS: Picture this. Sean + the Dalai Lama + Richard Branson + ME! It's not a fantasy. We'll all be speaking at the Engage Today event coming up. And there might be a way for you to meet all of us...

Thank you for this. I am going to the Engage Now in Calgary, so I'll see you there! I only recently heard of Sean and planned to attend his talks there. He is obviously an inspiration to our life, one which shows that in spite of our differences, we are all the same. People, created by God for a purpose which is the betterment of society, which by the way IS God's world, the Creator's cause! Sean is a beautiful person with whom we are blessed. Thanks again!

What a character! What a personality!!
Sean- nothing wrong with your body. It is the Almighty's creation so, JUST PERFECT!!
Please, keep on showing the world what is really so imperfect in the mind's eyes!!
God Bless!

When we are confronted with a personal hit it is natural to look to ourselves to find fault. Were tough, we make out own way, but when someone we have a desire to connect with turns us down, we fail to look at their judgmental ability. I think it is a natural process just as the male bird dances for the female he goes to the extreme to impress, but to know the secrete of the dance that actually makes the process work would be a priceless treasure.

Wow - Sean knows how to tell a tale. He makes the whole belief thing easy to understand.

Gravatar image Nan says 3 months, 2 weeks ago

Excellent videos. I took tons of notes. What Sean had to say is right on! The most challenging part of life is the 6 inches between our ears....but, also the most rewarding!

I love your info...it makes me think.

Thanks for all you do!

Nan

Once I fell in love with someone who I thought looked too good for me and couldn't let myself be with them. I guess that shows low self-esteem in the looks department that could have sabotaged many relationships in the past. This guy was so right for me that it showed me clearly how superficial I was in the way I thought of myself (and other people).

how amazing is this ..... would love to watch the second part. this is just what i needed today - inviting different people into my space. I have a really nasty neighbour and have been wondering why I invite people like him into my space ..... this has set me on a path to success. thank you so much

Gravatar image Darina says 3 months, 2 weeks ago

I am amazed by the way this man was able to coop with everything that happened to him. I've seen beautiful people thinking that they are not enough and giving up.
I would like to listen to more videos because it is truly inspiring.

Gravatar image Betty says 3 months, 2 weeks ago

when I first saw the picture of Sean, I didn't know if I wanted to see the video, but proceeded to watch all of them. His way of telling his story is very heartwarming. We all want to be loved!
Thanks for this!

Sean's message is right on. I hope he embraces his physical structure completely with gratitude to the creator. For he is achieving the purpose for which he was given that body: to channel hope, love and power to set ourselves free from the traps certain types of desires do set for us.

My first rejection came in high school and I was spared the pain because it clarified the choice between two girls. Ultimately as I have grown up, I have found that desire for and to be like the creator of the universe is the ultimate liberator.

Thanks for sharing your wisdom.

I loved this....Sean's energy does attract.....watching him, even more than listening to him, awakens a knowing in me.
Many blessings, to you Sean, and thanks for the inspiration. You touched something very deep within, and I felt shift happen.

What a lesson to me, to all those whose feet touch the ground and still have no strength to stand up after having been knocked down! I've taken notes about thoughts, beliefs and most of all, about the way I have to see myself as to be reflected in the eyes of others... I'll do my best, maybe it's not too late yet! Thank you for sharing!

Gravatar image Carol says 3 months, 2 weeks ago

I wish I had heard this in this form 40 years ago. I know it isn't too late. Thank you, I hope to hear more from this man.

Gravatar image Nicole says 3 months, 2 weeks ago

Never thought to go back to childhood for this information. I have dated some real rage heads. Just recently, I began seeing my neighbor who I found hopelessly compelling. Turns out it was the wrong time as he is mourning a previous relationship. I think I may have misinterpreted our exchanges, perhaps even projecting some ridiculous story onto the reality of what is. Lately I have transitioned from long term relationships to unavailable men (emotionally, not married ones.) I'm guilty of that pattern of falling in and out of love very quickly. It's a silly and boring game. I can't wait to hear what he has to say next. I could use a gem or three.

Gravatar image Veronica says 3 months, 2 weeks ago

It was very touching and made me see love from a different prospective, How amazing to listen to him talk about love, he's had more experiences than alot of so called normal people, and if he figured out how to found love and be loved for who he is,than there's hope for others. For we all have our handicaps that hinder us from discovering real love, Enjoyed it very much.. was well worth my time!

Gravatar image nanor says 3 months, 2 weeks ago

how many times have most of us...or all of us have gone around looking for these kinds of answers? i maybe a little too many times...Sean is amazing. Throughout his video, he has given me insight that was missing. Now I know. Watching this video has really made me realize the power of one's belief, and the power to undo the previous beliefs that has been causing harm to one's life.
Thank you for sharing this with all of us.

I have a little trouble remembering my time in Kindergarden. I only remember hitting the back of my head on the monkey bars. But exposing your love life is an interesting way to other people's hearts. Who hasn't experienced these things? In fact, who hasn't felt like Sean one time or another?

Sean's physical limitations represents the mental barriers we may encounter in our lives. Unfortunately, there are social circles that tend to impress us with negative self image by imparting negative images to others, especially at a young age.

This is a horrid practice started by, guess who?.. The parents of those negative kids. There are people in this world who think they have so much freedom that they can practice freedom from responsibility, like bringing up kids with beliefs based in fear and hatred instead of love.

As far as beliefs, they're wrought by feedback. As Sean says, people look for ways to justify their beliefs, negative or positive. Mainstream decadent social circles raise us to recognize only the negative. Stereotypes and other judgemental heuristics are at the center of that negativity.

Sean is on the money when it comes to defeating those stereotypes by not only recognizing, but knowing that our positive feedback is there to create our positive beliefs.

Gravatar image Lisa Wallace says 3 months, 2 weeks ago

What a terrible tease, showing us only the first part of the story. It is noit helpful to me to be left hanging.

Gravatar image Aubrey Wood says 3 months, 2 weeks ago

Being only 68 years old, I haven't been in too many relationships. When he talked about having someone you cared about early on in life, a girl came to mind that I knew when I was 7 to 16 yeas old. I cared very much for her, but she didn't have time for me. After not being able to be with her, I felt that I wasn't good enough or anyone else. Since there was hope for Sean and he over-came his self-imposed mental problem, then there is still hope for me.

Thanks very much. I really got a lot out of these videos.

WOW!! Talk about holding up a mirror!! Have used a wheelchair since 1957 because of rheumatoid arthritis. Have felt and experienced the same Highs and Lows, but ... would love to be where you (Sean) are right now.

If you EVER need a Canadian resource ... here I am! How can I be of service?

YOU (Sean) have beenblessed, and you are a blessing to whoever enters your sphere of influence. I have met so few people like this ... it would be an honour to share a meal with you.

Wow Sean "Rocks", he's a awsome insperation. I can totally relate to him, I was in a accident six years ago which caused me to be in a wheel chair.
Over the last few years I've developed a few fasle beliefs
myself, and just to see someone actually live the truth and shatter his own FB's makes me feel amazing.
Story's like Sean's make it more assuring and promising that anybody can find true peace and happiness.

When I started watching the first video all i saw was a freak. By the beginning of the third video, I no longer saw any deformity, he was no longer an "object" but one heck of an interesting individual that I would feel privileged to spend time with, multi faceted, and fascinating. When my husband was dying of cancer, one day he said, the only time he ever complained during his illness, we were in an elevator, and there was a mirror in that elevator, and John took a look at himself, and said, " I am so ugly now." I did not see him as ugly at all, and from the very depth of my heart i looked at him and said, "no way, you are beautiful, you are my beauty." I was totally blind to what the awful chemo and radiation treatments had done to his physical looks, and he DID look beautiful, and i could have taken a lie detector test, and if they had asked me if i found my John to be beautiful, i would have answerd YES, and it was the truth, FOR ME, THAT is what I saw in him. A year later i saw a photo of him during the time he was so ill, and, he did look horrible, and this shocked me, because he had never looked that way to me, and I cried and cried.

We are what we believe, I know that YYK hates me because I have made that my reality and go about doing everything to make sure he does hate me. My choice. I control how he feels about me, I control how everyone feels about me, which is usually bad, and this is my doing, i am the creator of my universe. If i so chose, YYK would simply adore me, but I for whatever reason very cleverly drive him away, even though consciously i want his friendship more than anything on earth, yet it is I who makes this impossible. I could change this. Whether i do is up to me.

Thank you Vishen for this video. This is one thing you have done that actually has affected me very deeply. I have never thought much of you, but after your presenting this video, i think i have changed my mind.

Peace,

Joyce

So where's part two?? 'The law of Attraction' is real. We attract what we believe about ourselves. Set up a 'Vision Board' ask the universe for help, believe that it will happen and it will. The 'Law of Attraction' is working ALL the time. If you believe you're worthy, so do others. LOVE, JOBS, HOUSES, TRAVEL, just believe, ask and thou shall receive. This is what I believe Sean's message is. I believe this is true. However I've never won big money on the lottery. lol. BUT, after changing my beliefs my life has changed for the better. Good on you Sean! You're an inspiration.

Hey Folks,

Thanks for the videos. Really had to think about this for awhile. I discovered I was attractive to some of the opposite sex in 3rd grade but it only made me uncomfortable. Had a crush on a girl in the 5th grade and took her to a dance or two and just lost interest. Had a crush on a girl in 7th grade. We had one date and she left with her family for Africa. (Army dependent). Discovered I was popular with other girls but did not want to date. 9th grade and all the girls my age wanted to date older guys. Did not care about dating all through high school. Dated the year after graduation and had a good time. Did not want a steady or serious relationship. Ended up having one anyway and escaped marriage by military service.

Married that woman 8 years later, only to grow apart over a 21 year marriage. Have had two lovers since the marriage ended and the benefits were outweighed by problems. Last lover is now my best friend. I have always been happiest unattached, it seems. Now it seems to be the same for my son. My best guess is about 80% of us marry the wrong person because we have absolutely no reliable guidance in finding a good match. With those odds, the single life has its attraction.

Gravatar image Tim says 3 months, 2 weeks ago

As I said to my daughter today before watching the video of Sean, I said Love yourself, be proud of you, you are as Beautiful as you see yourself. Others will Love you more If you Love yourself first and show It. Not the self serving, self centered love but a kind, gentle, confident and comfortable with oneself kind of Love. The kind of Love that says I care about myself as much as I care about those who are, friends, relatives, work as well as acquaintances. Don,t let others describe or define your character. Don't let others shape who you will like or dis like. If you let that happen, It shows how little you think of yourself. Be true to your self, Love your self, others will Love you for who you really are. Your confidence in yourself will shine bright, even on the darkest nights. Let that Love in your self shine so even a rabid dog would seance you are not afraid. At times we all get bitten but Love will always heal. Loving one self is the armor you need to survive when poison that Is spread and grows with fear gets as It gets in your brain.

Now I would Love to see the second part!

All my Love and Peace.

When I can fully Embody my Authenticity in a way that is powerful and real, I become a Magnet for not only wonderful relationships, I also become a Magnet to other things as well, because I KNOW I deserve the Best and so does everyone else. Deep inside we are all from the Same Source "energy" and we have only been programmed at times, to forget that and believe in our unworthiness instead. Thank you SO MUCH for helping remind us, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", especially when we can see through the eyes of our hearts.

Endless love & appreciation, Morgine

Gravatar image Alina says 3 months, 2 weeks ago

Of course that our belief creat our reality. Real long relationship is worthy and with 100% integrity from both attracted people may go to more experiences ending with sex. In today's world people are attracted so fast and use each other very often look like animals everywhere with not to much responsibility for each other and consiquences, what very often go to big drama very soon. This come with a culture and believe.
What kind of example we are for our kids?

Hi, I feel so connected to sean. I recently met a guy, who is every thing i wanted. But i was scared that i would get rejected or it wont work and my fear came true. He said no to me and looking for someone else. Its was so painful to go through this. I still have my hopes hooked on him that he would come back to me one day, cose deep down i know i am the one for him.

What an excellent example of life's lessons for us to internalize. With awareness comes knowledge. Using this lessons to enable our own worth so we may share that with the others, would feel great.

Wow!
Well, I think the Universe just sent me a very gentle, friendly, awakening reminder of what "reality" is.
Perception of oneself and perception of others because of conditioning and fear.
I of course have always "known" this intellectually but seeing these segments just brought it home in a miraculous way.
i will be looking out for Sean in my area (hope he comes to LA, CA) and also passing along his message. And utilizing his message in my own life :-)

Gravatar image Ioan says 3 months, 2 weeks ago

I knew that making a sale is not about selling the right product, with the right feature, although it helps. It is rather you being attractive (and not good lucking) and in rapport with the person you communicate with.

I love the distinction between what someone / something brings you as qualities that we enjoy and are attracted about and those things that we are rejecting conscious or unconscious (Religion, the fact that somebody could be in a wheel chair, blonde, curly and so on...)

I love the distinction between attraction which is energy versus good lucking which is a structure a filter "biased" by who we are.

thank you for sharing that,

Ioan

I really appreciate(ed) this video. SUPER. Sean definitely breaks down the stereotypes that society has and more important that we have implanted in (upon) ourselves. We are truly only limited by ourself(ves) and our own stereotyped and limited value(s) that we place upon ourselves. We do it to ourselves. The BUCK needs to stop with us. Sean really does bring it down to the personal level. Definitely very inspiring!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait for the next video and or information on Sean.
Thanks Much'

Gravatar image Gabs says 3 months, 2 weeks ago

I loved watching the videos. Thanks for these. I'm looking forward to watching the part two.

Sean and I may have something in common. I have a body of an athlete and I like jogging, swimming, hiking and many more but I was born a stutterer. I tried courting women but they would always notice my speech defect. It's sad to know that some women have certain criteria and they have the right to turn any man down. It's sad to know that they want guys who are perfect for them even though they themselves are not that perfect. I like the idea of teaching them to see us as desirable human beings, capable of loving and we can actually ask the universe to give us suitable partners who can see beyond the defects and the imperfections...who can tell us that they love us and we are perfect for them.

I think that Sean and I are not the ones who have defects. I think those who are quick to judge and those who are not capable of loving are the ones who have defects.

I don't have any problems. I accept myself. I love myself. I guess that is what counts.

Gabs

Gravatar image mary says 3 months, 2 weeks ago

my first reaction...........i can't wait for more...sean spoke to me on a very deep level about identity, empowerment and a deep sense of interconnectedness. i, too, am continually challenged by the perceptions of others and my own self perceptions...and i am so grateful when i can be in the company of those who accept me as i am...i hope to attract more of these people...funny thing is, as i am more comfortable in my own being, more of these folks appear...i know the pain of deep heartbreak, and i am walking the journey of healing...isn't it amazing, that such horror can really lead to much deep soul searching and the profound gift of reacquaintance with the person i always knew ....and loved?

Gravatar image Jan says 3 months, 2 weeks ago

Sean, I know of what you speak. I have spent most of my life not feeling like enough and I always found the men to prove that to me. Luckily, I have evolved myself and learned where some of those rumors came from and that I don't have to buy into them. Time will tell, but I think I have found someone who values me for being me. (To test this I gave away almost everything I had and reduced my lifestyle down to a single room--because I didn't want to be loved for what i had. I put myself in a situation where I have little in terms of material possessions and only the awareness of the path I want to follow--and I struggle with it sometimes but this seems not to frighten him). Time will tell. Your story reminds me of an Arthurian legend. I can't remember which Knight of the Round Table it was, but he agreed to marry an old, ancient looking woman who on the outside was not beautiful but at night, she was the most beautiful of women and only for him.

Gravatar image Chris says 3 months, 2 weeks ago

For me it took a stroke, almost three years ago, to look at life from a different perspective; and to be more spiritually aware. I now try to teach my daughters through example.
The governments of this world promote fear and hatred and if more people were aware of this they would turn their backs and look more towards love and gratitude for this amazing life; with all its ups and downs.

Gravatar image Vikki says 3 months, 2 weeks ago

This was exactly what I needed to stumble across probably 25 years ago but I am so grateful that it happened today.
Our world is full of amazing people that have limited themselves into thinking that they are not enough, and Sean, with the perfect example, vessel wise, is bringing the message home of our self worth and our responsibility in the belief that we are not. Thanking the universe for Sean and his wisdom, and his mission to bring it to us all.

I LOVE THESE CLIPS YOU SENT ME ON OF SEAN STEPHENSON. HE IS AN AMAZING PERSON INSIDE AND OUT WITH ENOUGH WISDOM, JOY AND PEACE TO FILL UP
AN ENTIRE ROOM.

IF THE WORLD WOULD LISTEN TO HIM THERE WOULD NOT BE CONFLICT AND WAR.

HE SAYS IT CORRECT THAT WE HAVE TO HONOR AND LOVE OURSELVES BEFORE ANYONE ELSE CAN. YOUR THOUGHTS OF ALL THE POSITIVE THINGS IS WHAT DRAWS ALL THINGS POSITIVE TO US.

YES, I WOULD LOVE TO MEET HE + THE DALAI LAMA + RICHARD BRANSON (WHEN LIVING IN HONG KONG I WAS OFFERED TO MEET AND FLY WITH HIM ON THE VIRGIN JET LINER HE HAS JUST STARTED) I MISSED THAT OPPORTUNITY AND REGRET IT FOR YEARS NOW.

Gravatar image Wendy says 3 months, 2 weeks ago

I am so glad to have had the opportunity to view the first part of this series and am very much looking forward to subsequent portions.

Sean not only makes it easy to understand but explain as well, what is all too often overlooked and forgotten in today's societies ... that we, each and every one, regardless of who, what, where, when or why, are all enough, for whatever it is we choose to be, do, and have.

Although knowing, even before watching these videos, those beliefs I hold which prevent me from doing certain things, I did not have the inclination to make changes to them, I have been doggedly holding on to them. Now inspired, I believe it is time to review them and make some definite changes ...

Gravatar image Delia says 3 months, 2 weeks ago

Sean , what a positive boost of energy from him. something we can all learn is that the physical appearance is only the initial
layer deep inside is our answer to all the question we ever search for whether it's past, present or future, the lessons in life will keep on coming back to us until we plug out the root of the bad seeds from our mind. You're the man Sean!

Gravatar image Josephine says 3 months, 2 weeks ago

It is really fantastic to see a man like him point out, right on the notch, the problem most people face while looking for a companion.
His comments make me see what keeps me away from finding the person adequate enough to share a life with.
Amazing person you are, thanks for existing and for teaching ourselves to see inside.

Great speaker, great message!
Attraction vs looks - how true!
As children we have no judgement, every body is "normal", that's how Sean was. Until, probably adults pointed out that he was not.
Being "normal", seeing this little guy overcoming his setbacks that look so hard, is a fantastic, uplifting thing! I am 70 years old and worry about me looking older - who cares - it does not affect my attraction!
We worry about looks, my nose is too big, my boobs are too small, I am too tall (that's what I thought growing up ending st almost 6 feet and crying for it), too short!
Sean has a fantastic message and delivers!

Hi ! I really enjoyed the videos from Stephenson. They answered some of the questions that I had in my mind about a possible relationship with a man that may be occurring. He is a very caring gently, and concerned individual He seems to be interested in me and I pray that he finds something where we can build a mutual relationship. He has given me some indications that there may be
something there but he is and awfully slow individual in his actions.I chose to let him be slow and let him lead the way,not give up

Thanks
Pauline

This is great! Where can I see part two.

Gravatar image harry says 3 months, 1 week ago

It is interesting that he becomes bitter because women reject him because of his appearance, yet (at least the way he tells it) all the women HE is attracted to are fine physical specimens i.e. most popular girl in school, personal trainer etc. Kind of "Poor me, all the PRETTY girls I am attracted to are so superficial and judge me by my looks" If he is attracted by "attractive" why does he expect them to be any different. One wonders how many women in wheel chairs with distorted bodies, yet inner beauty he has dated. I venture to guess very few, if any, and if he has I doubt many have rejected him. Maybe it is time to practice what you preach Sean.

I am also a little peeved that I spent a half hour watching this and was then left hanging. Why did you choose to cut him off right before he reveals the "secret".

Gravatar image harry says 3 months, 1 week ago

I apologize. I just now read after postiong that the second half is coming soon.

May the Arquitect of the Universe use me to help spread Sean's self-appreciation and dignity.

THANK YOU ALL.

Dear Vishen:
Wonder is an utterly unique and profound experience, and I am filled with this 'feeling' watching Sean and hearing him. I want to bring every jaded person I know to meet him at my place and yik-yak with munchies and wine. His energy is irresistible and rare. Eloquent, graceful, earnest and with wit to spare, he is at ease baring his soul and giving unstintingly from that vast source. Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity. I'm with the gal above who wants to know where to connect with part 2. Being as I am in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, I ask you please to let me know if he ever jaunts up to your northern neighbors as I would be honored to meet him. Wow!
A jewel glittering in my day, piercing all of this day with shards of light. Please send Sean my heartfelt best.

Rejection is a hard thing to deal with, but what is most exciting is your confidence in oneself and your ability to motivate in such a powerful manner.
I like how you explain one's belief system.
I like your perception of "Goodlooking -is a structure" verses "Attractive - is a energy".

In 1972 I took the Silva Mind Control course in Toledo, Ohio from Linda Kish and then in 1974 I completed the advanced course in Orlando, FL with Jose Silva. When I first came upon these 'new' presentations on the internet somehow I felt some resentment, but when I viewed Sean Stephenson's presentation I immediately realized that the negative reaction in me was due to an incomplete learning experience. He is a wonderful man whose understanding of the human condition has already helped me overcome limitations that I had erected and then buried. What he says is a revelation that resonates in everyone's life. I look forward to my reaffirmation of what I had learned and practiced for years with additional understanding.
Thank you.

I am so thankful for having watched this video and getting introduced to Sean Stephenson, he is the most inspiring man I have ever heard and seen by far. I am turning 25 and I have been on a rampage for about 3 years now researching the Law of Attraction, those videos were the epitome of Like Attracts Like, and understand the amazing power of our emotions, beliefs, thoughts, words, actions, and above all... power to change our lives with each and every breath we receive in the present moment. I believe that is why they call it the present moment. One love, be well. Thanks again.

Sean- you are a sincere, genuine and humorous soul. Thank you for a lovely look at life from this moving perspective uniquely defined in four segments. You are truly a "whole person". You hit it on the head - you must love youself before you can be a true and loving partner to anyone else.

Gravatar image Gloria says 3 months ago

A beautifully articulated and illustrated explanation of how we project our own beliefs onto the world and take the reflection we see there as evidence of 'The Truth.' We only ever reject ourselves, we only ever abandon ourselves, we only ever betray ourselves, no matter how it looks on the outside. I didn't have that realisation until a few years ago when I was in my early 50's and have been on the journey Shaun describes since. I look forward to the second part. Blessings and gratitude to you, Shaun and all involved in bringing this to us.

Gravatar image Joanie says 3 months ago

Hi Sean,
I have been ill for quite some time and I actually haven't been what I think of as my normal self for over a few years now. I feel like I am broken and I can't be fixed. I have had relationships where I was degraded, beaten, belittled, cheated on, mistrusted etc. And I realize from listening to you that I have attracted people who hurt me all my life in all my relationships. I have ended and even sabbotaged relationships so to speak because of the way I was treated. I also believe that maybe I am not worthy of giving true love or receiving true love or worthy of true happiness. I am not sure why all I know is I have this hole in my heart and my soul that I can't seem to fix. I have been reading about spirituality and meditation and trying to learn to self heal and find peace and love in myself and this universe. I am married to my 3rd husband now for 19 years and I have come to love him and he is really trying to take care of me now and letting me try to find myself and inner peace. I even try to push him away at times and I don't understand why. I always apologize when I am mean and try to get him to leave and I know it's because I am scared I am not enough for him or myself and that I will fail not only as a wife but a mother, a human being oh I don't know fail at life in general I guess. I just know something is not right inside me. He always tells me he loves me and that everything is going to be ok and one day I will be ok. I really truly am doubting I will ever be fixed or ok. What is wrong with me? I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, depression, chronic fatique, I have stressed and worried myself to the point of reaching all these illnesses and medications I'm taking don't seem to be helping and so I have weaned off all the pain medications and anti seizure/anti depressants etc to try and self heal and I don't know where to go from here. Last year when I broke down we where both living well we had 2 houses one in PA and one in AZ I worked my way up the corporate ladder to be successful and give our daughter all the things we did not have when we were growing up and felt that a six figure income would help us to find happiness and all I found was illness and that I was killing myself. So we sold almost everything we owned, downsized and destressed and filed bankruptcy and we now live in a small motorhome so money will not be overwhelming (mostly for me) we moved from west coast to east coast twice now. My joy is getting to spend time with my grandchildren and loving my husband for sticking with me and trying so hard to help me heal. I just cannot seem to stop my mind from worry and fear. I try to meditate and my mind won't stop!!!! If you have any suggestions on where I should go from here please share with me what you think. I'm tired, sad and not sure how to fix myself. Maybe I need doctor Phil???? I try every day to put on a happy face and keep on pushing but it's getting harder. I'm not sure where to find your phase 2 but I truly need to listen to more, I do know this much.
You have most definately touched my heart and made me pour this all out and actually I believe I have said more of what I think and feel in this comment than I ever have in my life and I share everything with my husband or have atleast tried. What next??? Thanks for your inspiration in helping me to look at myself deep inside, maybe this is all I'll need, I don't know. Thanks and feel free to email me with any suggestions and thoughts and I'm going to keep waking up every day and smiling because I know there is something more for me in this universe and I just want to fix myself and heal. Thanks again
Joanie

This is really great. I am getting older and the body is not as "good looking" as it used to be. My husband is balding and the aging of skin is manifesting on both of us. The cool part is that I am still attracted to him and he to me. The down side is that I notice that we are not the young full of hair color and tight skinned people we used to be. Seeing Sean and hearing him talk has been a real eye opener for me. I don't know what causes shifts in perception but we all know when we have had them. I truly feel like I had one of them today. I love my husband because he IS Attractive. That is great. So profound and so simple. We try to make things so much harder than they are. We listen to what others value and make it our own without even knowing that we did it. Thanks for sharing. Thanks for the shift in perception. Who knew today was going to be that kind of day. :^)

Vishen,
I am in a wonderful relationship and now with these videos it will continue to improve. I was on the phone with my lover and she was freaking out. Ya know, work, life stuff, etc. I said and I quote " I am here for you, feet planted firmly on the ground and arms wide open." That sounds like confidence and compassion. We are in a long distance love affair separated by the North American continent, and working to change that. I am a firm believer in the energy of love and the energy of attractiveness. Now that I see Sean explaining it, it makes great sense of many of my actions and my partner's reactions. I am enjoying Finer Minds. Keep up the good work and when does the next installment come out?

I live in Calgary, it's great to hear that your all coming here, but I won't be in town. For a long time now I have been in need of some R-n-R. I have always been a follower for the Dalai Lama, just last week I met a Buddhist Monk at Costco, it was Awesome to be able to make the clasped hand and bow. My relationship to my husband is not on great terms, we've been married 2 yrs and separated 2. Yeah so sad that in a matter of 2 months everything fell apart, most ppl would get annulment right away . . .but I held steadfast that something could be done to relinquish the relationship. I'm the one not ready to let go when most people are, those are the one's that give up to quickly, not me. Sean is someone who is different in the eyes of others, where others could never see or understand, yet no matter how commical someone can be, the negative of one's heart that has been cold for so long, somehow finds it's way to the surface and begins to heal. Nothing here is sugar -coated, it is reality . . .it is the truth, and Sean tells it like it is, he is a man of his word! This is the place I wish my husband and I could be, but the day this happens, is the day we will be returning from our holiday. Here's wishing you much luck!
