40 Inspirational Speeches In 2 Minutes — You’ll Get Goosebumps From This

Awesome video cutting together some of the greatest films of all times. Personally, I always get goosebumps when I listen to Aragorn speak in the Lord of the Rings. But I could just be a nerd.

In any case, enjoy this video. Really well cut and who doesn’t love the magic of movies?

I like this, but I’d call it something like “Inspirational speeches from the old paradigm” with exactly three females and three people (men) of color. It’s good for what it is — the inspired songs of the white boy. :-) . It would be fascinating to do the same with a wider segment of the world’s inspired leaders and cutting edge thinkers (albeit more difficult, given their general lack of silver screen press).

WOW! Do you know that White Boy is a racist term? I grew up in an area (Oakland, Ca) Where I was the only “white boy” around. I was harassed and called this everyday. I fought everyday. Your comments are not only offensive but tragic. In a time where we as people are all struggling just to make it, shouldn’t we look to videos like this with appreciation? Shouldn’t we widen our minds, eyes and hearts to see inspiration at every chance we get? Isn’t it our responsibility to look passed our selves and our need to be judges and victims and focus not on what is wrong — but on what is right? Not on what isn’t but on what is? God/Life/The Universe has hidden a million opportunities for happiness and inspiration in your day. We (myself included) must remove the blinders from our eyes to see them. We must let go of our right to be justified, of our patterns of victimization. It is time for us all to let go and find that true happiness is our choice!

Nice to see you can find the problem amidst so much inspiration. Well done, Dawn.

Hey, Dawn, leave the victimhood status at home. We have a black President and a woman as Secretary of State. People come here to get inspired, not for your political correctness crap. Instead of complaining, why don’t you go out and find some clips to post here yourself.

You liberals need to GROW UP!

Dawn thanks for saying what I feel and yet also saddened. The white male screen –writer, director, producer and banker will always ensure that women only say what man wishes to hear.

Is it possible to inspire without ending up in a fight? I think so.

Wow — did that seriously all make sense? I think I’ll have to watch it again :)

Dawn and I are on the same wavelength. It reminded me however that there is a way to channel the e-motion of anger to arouse effective action. To Waste! it on war-like tit for tat, retaliative, destructive behavior is a pity of the old paradigm and a leaky, dysfunctional human field. To harness this “explosive” energy and direct it where we choose sure beats the lethargy in “Dis-I’m Powerment”

I suddenly remberd something…I must have been 14 or 15 years old when I first saw the movie f “Gone with the wind” and I still remember vivienne Leigh, saying to fClark Gable, that she stayed home becouse she was missing this “chip”, what makes people shiver for glory or the national flag!

Nevertheless good to remind us…In Holland lots of people seemed to forget current wars…

I have the same as Dawn though.…Please make us another one, with the basics of the Faith in what we all are aiming for…

    Henny with love from Amsterdam

    Too many war movies.

Great collection of media references, very entertaining and inspiring!
P.S…Yes our society is screwed up, and yes I would guestimate the amount of minority references here correlate with the amount of women and minorities given a real voice in the real world, and yes we need to change that.
However, I think the point was to put some ‘classic’ movie moments together in an inspiring and entertaining fashion, not take on societal norms. With that purpose in mind, Me Like!

How about we all take it for what it is and not do EXACTLY what Dawn did and tear it and eachother all apart.

What a waste of time, mine and yours, on a very insensitive video. Does no one else realize that hitler murdered millions of people with his motivational spirit? To think this came through a whole editorial team at Finer Minds is quite surprising. I agree with the other comments of disdain and suggest this project to be scrapped. Hate that is tolerated is enabled. This is a perfect example of how mainstream media effects our subconsious, desensitising us, as we watch another person be raped or mudered. We say, “It’s just a movie.” True, but my friend, whose dad was shot in the head, is tormented every time he sees said instance. Think of how many times you have seen this happen on the silver screen and just try to see it from his perspective. I am not talking about censorship, that is a slippery slope, rather good people making better decisions. May God give us strength.

How about the trial scene from “Scent of a Woman”, the closing arguments in “A Few Good Men”, something from the “Outlaw Josey Wales”, the aftermath of the opening sequence in “The Wild Bunch” for starters.

The image of Hitler voided the entire concept of this video being inspirational.

You are most right indeed, Bonnie. Although always loved Chaplin is there, I think the editor of the video got it completely wrong.

That was not Hitler. That was “The Little Dictator” played by Charlie Chaplin. It is a comedy. Even though it is a “dark” comedy, it has a very happy ending. The speech quoted in the video is one where the Little Dictator speaks of courage and power to the little people, and showing love and kindness to your fellow man, instead of war and hate. It was, at the time it was made, something of a spoof of Hitler, and was completely misunderstood by most people, as it seems also to be here.

Two minutes, filled with inspiration and motivation. Great.

It wasn’t inspirational at all. The bists and pieces of those flms gather together are like today’s world: bits and pieces of here and there but te result is just emptiness.
There are so many fatanstic things at Finerminds but this video can easily be left aside. It gives nothing.

ohhh..!!You know guys ‚i thought it was great ‚for all of you people that seems to have seen bad things in there just remember one thing ‚you’ve seen what you wanted to see .Somewhere inside yourself you were touched ‚hurt, driven, inspired by some parts of this 2 minutes clips.Your life history made you look at this the way you did because you let it .Look at it again and just listen to the words .…and dont let your memories confuse you ‚this was meant to inspire because the lyric chosen are words of inspiration .…and inspired it did only to those who let it happen .Focus on the words and not on the memories attach to movie scenes ‚or life experiences …otherwise you miss the whole purpose of this well done clip…

I think the clips are a very good composition working together, and the more I look at the video and listen to it, the more it touches me, and inspires me to fight my own fires.

entertaining — neatly edited.. and — Yes, if your goal is to get “All Fired Up to go kick some ass”.. some of us have other goals. (to inspire to fight… here’s a tip — research the map of consciousness) NO (!) I do NOT mean the video is “wrong” or “bad” .. it IS interesting.. but recognize the premise.. “Do you want to fight?”.
    Love ya,

This is a clear demonstration of the the power of perception. We all have our own take on this clip and it genuinely reflects what we choose to focus upon. This clip did not give me goosebumps, but there were some scenes that touched me and others that did not. The beauty is that I always get to choose how I feel regardless of the situation presented. My power to choose — that is what I am passionate about.
