I am interested to see such opportunities for like minded people. I myself cannot avail of this as I am committed to what I do presently. She Shachnamh Teanghbhaill is my background which is a sort of Druid croseed with Gnosticism it is a legacy passed down in my family culture and belief system for many generations and evolved out of the celtic early christain cultures of both Scotland and the N.West of Ireland. Basically it is up to the individual to find truth and understanding through their own efforts - no spoon feeding through - "touching upon that which is enlightening and which gives perceptual understanding". There are so many cultures and so many concepts crossing lines to create a defined centre - wonderful.Rock on. Peadar.
I don't really know if my query is appropriate here..so its not really a comment its a question..I thought about how the internet is an amazing place to find information, but when you actually start to search for something you need ..it may become a minefield, because you may come up with so much that is not what you are looking for..and therefore you waste a great deal of time.
so cutting to the chase..I am seeking to help a friend who is an expert in a certain nutrient, and wishes to find a financial backer to create new innovative health products with him ...he had many ideas ..but was let down by a company that was unable to take the product further and develop new products. For individuals wishing to work in the nutrition field, and who would like to work on developing health products, this person would like to very much to have them contact him...as I say he is very prominent Biochemist, Scientist, and not a marketer, so he needs those skills in someone, and he has the knowhow to develop products, but needs funding..
I hope that someone out there may know someone and we could get the ball rolling, the more people that can benefit from new ..affordable and innovative health products the better.. I am who I am- I have written one book- and published it- I am now publishing my second book with Xlibris- I came from a dirt poor family who were farmers and I married a man who is a construction worker at heart - all his family are construction workers than they got me. I have studied for fify five years religions starting with Christianity, I then went on to study Hinduism (bahgvad gita), Taoism. I then joined the Spiritualist Church and over twenty years developed mediumship and gave concrete proof of survival to many people (this also amazed myself at times) but there was always something missing so I became interested in the mind and hypnosis and particularly Carl Jung and the collective unconsious mind. I occasionaly still give channeled help for the really needy and never charge but I seem to have come full circle and now am involved with Buddhism. I am British but live in Thailand with my Thai family and recently met an American Monk that lives in a cave and meditates for up to 16 hours a day (no not Burt Goldman) he also practises Vipassana, insight meditation. My particular passion is the writings of professor Paul Brunton (quest of the overself) and the Buddhist master Buddhadasa Bhikkhu. I have a small riverside resort in the Thai lake district if anyone wants a holiday and discuss Dharmma or any like subjects. If I can be of help to Mind valley please let me know. Graham

Ah, such youthful people in your video! I am a 51 year old clinical social worker. I do have other talents, writing, interviewing...there's not much one doesn't learn when working w/ people on the level of a social worker. I'm wondering if your company hires people with some age on them, with a background such as mine.
