Is there even one person on the planet who does not love music?

How could a piece like Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony–composed from a mere four notes–rise to become one of the world’s most treasured and renowned musical themes of all time? What can we glean from music’s universal power that can be applied to the way we communicate, the way we work, the way we play and really listen to one another? Is there a way to use the core elements of music to create alignment and harmony in our everyday lives? How is it that humanity has yet to engage fully in the power of music–-the world’s undisputed international language–-as an everyday enhancement to life beyond its value as pure entertainment?

Editors note: Freddie Ravel is internationally recognized as the “Motivational Maestro”.The GRAMMY-nominated producer, #1 recording artist, speaker and founder of Tune Up to Success® presents a unique interactive performance event that demonstrates how music is a multi-tasking power tool for life.

Utterly captivated by Music since age 5, Freddie began performing worldwide with Brazilian master Sergio Mendes at age 23, where Universal Records discovered and subsequently released three Top charting, fiery and sensual solo albums that continue to receive extensive international airplay: “Midnight Passion”, “Sol to Soul” & “Freddie Ravel”.With the Los Angeles Times writing: “Ravel masterfully blends jazz textures, rock energy & tropical rhythms”

Music is fundamental to who we are. All people are naturally born with music within, and yet never before has there been a way to connect music’s gifts to enhance the quality of one’s daily life . . . until now.

Over the next few months, I am excited to present a simple methodology that harnesses people’s ability to hear the music in every aspect of their personal and professional lives that I call Tune Up To Success.

For FinerMinds.com, I will focus on a series of “Tune Up Tips” that will demonstrate how music is way beyond entertainment — it is a multi-tasking power tool for life!

My goal is to touch Mothers, fathers, students, businessmen, managers, personal and professional growth-seekers and reveal new ways to re-define their passions, aspirations and dreams in the context of music.

Bach. Brahms. The Beatles. BB King. Madonna. Miles. Celine. Santana. Sinatra. Familiar music that I have performed across the globe for the past three decades is just a starting point to share the journey with you.

Let’s Go!

I have been feeling very integrated the past few days because of these ease in which I am attracting the information I want. Being an out of practice amateur musician, I look forward to this coming musical journey.

    Hi Vishen
As you probably know music is very important for everyone. As we aproach the year 2012 the mayan calander has
said that the universe will kick into another higher gear. This I am told happens every 26 or 27,000 years so we are all living in very exciting times[for those who will see 2012 and onwards.
The vibrational frequency of the planet will change and so will all of us.We will become more psychic and spiritual as the veils lift between the physical world and the spirit world.I Believe that this is not fantasy but fact.I also believe that not everyone will be able to handle this. For those who’s frequency is already at the heart chakra [F sharp and above] they will fare better than the ones on the lower chakra frequencies

Wow great article! I have played electric and acoustic guitar for 35+ years.Personally I have found music to be a fountain of youth, and health. It nourishes the mind by enhancing your awareness, and it seems there is a whole holistic value that could be developed through relation to tuning our bodies to health with certain notes, and melodies.

Oh boy! Ohhh boy! This so true, and so omnipotent! Music is ENERGY, baby!!! Use it!!! I do! :)
The rock group Triumph says it so simple and powerful in their song “Magic Power” (Just youtube it or google it to hear this powerful and super motivational song) Thanks FinerMinds!

Something’s at the edge of your mind, you don’t know what it is
Somethin’ you were hopin’ to find but your not sure what it is
Then you hear the music and it all comes crystal clear
The music does the talkin’ says the things you want to hear

    CHORUS:
    I’m young, I’m wild and I’m free
I got the magic power of the music in me
    (Repeat)

She climbs into bed, pull the covers overhead and turns herlittle radio on
She’s had a rotten day so she hopes the DJ’s gonna play herfavorite song
It makes her feel much better, brings her closer to her dreams
A little magic power makes it better that it seems

She’s young now, she’s wild now, she wants to be free
She gets the magic power of the music in me

If you’re thinkin’ it over but you just can’t sort it out
Do you want someone to tell you what they think it’s all about
Are you the one and only who’s sad and lonely, reachin’ for thetop
Well the music keeps you goin’ and it’s never gonna stop
    Never gonna stop
Never gonna, never gonna, never gonna stop

The world is full of compromise, and infinite red tape
But the music’s got the magic, it’s your one chance for escape
So turn me on — turn me up — it’s your turn to dream
A little magic power makes it better than it seems

    CHORUS

For a long time I’ve known that putting music with an experience really helps us to recall that experience. Playing music while studying… and playing music to relax is all most beneficial.

Music seems to be an easier way of spirit connecting with us also. When we start to tune in and pay attention to the songs that seem to randomly come into our heads… especially first thing in the morning (as we’re waking) and last thing at night (whilst we’re in a relaxed pre-sleep state).

If you do have songs come into your mind for no apparent reason (i.e. you haven’t just heard it on the radio, etc) then check out the lyrics on the net — you may be surprised.

Thank God for musicians and writers!

Ive never been closer to anyone, than I am to these two subjects. GOD and Music. Music flows with the nature of your present moods, and magicaly just fixes it to where you want to be. Personally, I dont spend a day withoup listening to my favourite artist Kanye West. His subconcious-self just gets his lyrics deep in Me. Gives Me a lot to thank and think about.

    Thanks finer minds
