To get you going, here are a few from the FinerMinds community:

VishenMy first experience came during a Silva Method class in 1993 when I was doing a case work on a lady I’ve never met before. If you’re not familiar with this Silva form of “case working” let me explain. First you’re paired up with a partner in class. Your partner then gives you information on someone they know, but whom you’ve never met. You only get 4 pieces of info : the name, age, gender and location. You then go into meditation and attempt to draw further information on this person.

I admit, I was a little bit skeptical at first.

I closed my eyes using the Silva technique and counted down to move my mind into the Alpha level of relaxed meditation. I then attempted to visualize the subject of the case.

I told the lady I saw blue blood running through the body of the subject.  Then I told her I saw a sad little man with three Indian elephants moving around him in a circle.

The lady’s jaw dropped. First the subject was a smoker and because of this she had developed lung problems. Now these lung problems made her blood unable to absorb enough oxygen and as a result her blood had a purplish hue. In fact, this ailment is also called blue blood’s disease in layman’s terms.

And that sad man I saw in her head was her husband. He had just been transferred to India and this had caused a lot of heartache. They had been separated for 4 months.

It was quite amazing to see this level of detail pop out of my head. I knew nothing about the subject except those 4 pieces of information.

I’ve had far more experiences after this one and everyday I find myself relying more and more on my intuition.”

- Vishen Lakhiani

From last year’s winner, Marlene Braun: “It’s a sunny early morning I am sitting in the shade under a tree my eyes are closed , the sun is surrounding my body as if to be hugging me, at a distance I hear children playing soccer.
closer to me I hear the sounds of birds blending with the breeze touching my face.
suddenly, I am up and on my feet running towards a child running after a soccer ball,as I tackle this child we go rolling down a small hill landing face down in gravel, as we both pick ourselves up off the ground we looking at each other not understanding what had happened, as we look around other children running in our direction , we see the soccer ball smashed in the asphalt . as a truck is traveling on it journey.
To my surprise I had keep this child from arms way of the truck..
yes, yes I did.”

I’d been looking for a number of years for a book (long out of print) that I’d loved as a child.
Every year our Public Library holds a massive three-day booksale, and every year I kept hoping my book might turn up. A few years ago when I attended, I had a sudden sense of excitement, and knew without a doubt that book was in the sale.
I walked quickly past rooms filled with books, not even looking. I felt like I was being led by my excitement, and that there was a presence at the other end, equally excited about my being there. Stopping abruptly at the door of a room I thought, “It’s here!” I entered the room, feeling immediately drawn to a table in the far corner. I searched urgently through the books on that table, only to come up empty handed. “But,” I thought, “that doesn’t make sense! I *know* it’s here!” I focused on my excitement again, and within about a minute I grinned, knelt down and pulled up the tablecloth. Many, many boxes of books stood waiting to replenish the sale tables. Only one box drew my attention, though, and I hauled that one box out from under the table, opened it and dug through the books inside. Sure enough, the book I wanted was about halfway down, and as soon as my hand touched it, without looking, I knew.

Our precious daughter was born on that chilly morning in January, 1994.
It was a Frank Breach birth. One leg up, one leg down.
The delivery nurses and doctors checked her and said she was a healthy little girl!
Some how that didn’t feel right to me!!! This feeling was with me before her birth and became more intense after her birth. And it continued to intensify day and night.
But what was it? We took her to many different doctors and specialists. We got first, second and third opinions. But all shared that she was healthy. Family members started to question me, even my husband but something did Not feel right to me!!!
One day at a neurologist appointment, I asked why my daughter did not sit up? He suggested an xray.
Sure enough the xray revealed she had ‘Congenital Dislocation of the Hips’ (CDH).
At Sick Kids Hospital they gave us a pamphlet that showed she was born with 9/10 symptoms and that this should have been detected at birth. At that time they shared that there was a 50/50 chance that she would walk again. After multi operations our daughter walks!!! This nagging intuition is the reason why our daughter is not in a wheel chair today.

There is a newly elected Mayor in Stamford,Ct. As children we attended school together, played together, we would even visit one anothers homes. Upon entering High School we each went our separate ways
and fell out of contact with each other. Over the past 50 years I have not given any thought regarding this
individual. Not once! Last year while residing in Phoenix, AZ his name emerged in my mind, however not
only did his name come to mind, but, the fact that he was going to become mayor of Stamford, CT. Approximately 3 months after this experience I traveled home To Stamford, CT to visit family. Shortly after my
arrival, I was listening to the local news one evening, and there was a report on the current mayoral elections for Stamford, CT. The news reported that this individual has been elected as Stamford’s new mayor.

I have so many stories from my life as a Silva Graduate. At first it was hard to choose which one would be the most entertaining, finding Findhorn in Scotland without a map, winning a prize at the Maine Festival and then I thought “Hey, Disney is the place where it is fun for all ages. So here is the story of one my “most fun” 3-finger Silva yahoo!” There we were, my mother, my then husband and his wheel-chair riding mother. Lunch time and we park the wheelchair outside a restaurant (along with about 30 others) and enjoy a meal together. Back to the wheelchair and you may have guessed it.…no wheelchair. Now, it’s rented from Disney and we are to return the same chair.…Moms and spouse begin to slightly panic and I with all the confidence in the world smile “sweetly” and say I’ll be back with it ASAP. Three fingers together and off I go, following the “intuition trail”. Left here, then a right, another right, and I walk right up to the correct wheelchair, ticket stub in hand and tag on chair match.Hundreds of wheelchairs in every direction all around the park and I walk to the right one in about 10 minutes. Laughing all the way back with the joy of the find I return to the restaurant, I appreciate the looks from the rest of the party and on we go for the rest of our Enchanted journey. Thank you, Jose! Yahoo.

I’ve always had weird wonderful things happen to me. I listen when I am told to go somewhere or do something and I do not question my guidance. One of the most amazing things that happened to me was I had applied for a job and was to have an interview that week. Two of my friends and I went to lunch and was guided to go to this restaurant I had never been to before. We went in and were seated. The gentleman I was seated with knew most of the people in the restaurant — lo and behold seated behind me was the man I was to interview with and his boss. They were discussing ME, what salary to offer and the top amount they would pay. I went into my interview and when he asked about the salary I wanted I told him I would not take the job for anything less than the top amount I heard in the restaurant. I got the job! My firends and I giggled our way through lunch that day (this was totally pared down to save space but it was one of the best days in my life).

My daughter had a problem with a co-worker, who was fired . That night as I was washing my face the co-worder had come by in a truck and threw a huge brick through the window. A minute prior to it I heard this voice telling me to get out, and a split second later the brick came through the window and hit the oppposte wall. Had it not been for the voice I heard, i wouldn’t be here to tell this amazing story. It saved my life!

I have had so many things with listening to my intuition, living in a large city when I learned to start trusting my intuition and drive on whatever road way my mind would take me I would always miss the traffic jams!
Here’s one that recently happened, I had surgery on my knee about 1 and half years ago, I am sitting on the table getting the spinal, when the team walked in to start the operation I got a very weird feeling in my stomach that something or someone on the surgical team was not right. Even though I was not put under I suddenly went to sleep and when I awoke, everyone that took care of me just did not feel right, like there was a lie going on. This went on all through the next 1 1/2 years of recovery, I kept searching for answers as to why my leg would not heal and I limped so badly yet everyone else with the same surgery recovered within 6 months and were back at their former activity levels. In the meantime due to other things going on (harassment) in that city I moved to a new city. Someone at my new office suggested i visit a chiropractor as he was a client of ours, for some reason though I suddenly decided to make an appointment to have a checkup with him. After discussion with him about my ongoing knee problems he suggested I see a local physiotherapist and maybe try doing some hot yoga. I decided to take his advice and saw the physiotherapist and sure enough she felt there was something not right with the way my knee had been operated on. She happened to have worked with a doctor whom was very well connected and experienced in dealing with sports and knee injuries, so immediately I was sent there. Even though during this time I had an xray taken at a local xray clinic for a family doctor, whom told me there was nothing wrong and that too bad her daughter had had a knee injury too. I would just have to wear a brace. (the same thing all the doctors in the other city kept saying too bad stay crippled).
The doctor immediately recognized that there was something not right with my knee and the way it had been operated on and sent me on to another surgeon he knew. The same thing again she came right in after looking at the x-rays and told me that definitely the surgery had been performed incorrectly and the way it was I would never be able to walk properly! So now I am awaiting new surgery but this time I know it will be ok. Listening to my intuition has led me away from the wrong people ( I know deep inside that the surgery is connected to the people that were harassing me) and finally I have found the right doctors and people to help me!
I never gave up even though I saw so many doctors and physiotherapists I kept searching so now it is 2 years since my injury and I am having to go through the whole surgery and rehabilitation again!

Tanks everyone for sharing your wonderful stories, here comes mine.
This is the one experience I treasure most, because remembering it always makes me smile and brings me hope in challenging times. Years ago we (my husband, our baby daughter and me) lived in the south east of Amsterdam in a neighborhood that was becoming more violent and disturbing everyday. We had lived there for more than ten years and it was o.k. when we were with the two of us: besides studying we took care of a group of children from broken families who spontaneously came to us on a regular basis for some comfort — the walls of our flat apartment were covered with their drawings! But they were all in their teens now and doing fine and we didn’t want these rough surroundings for our children so we were really quite desperate to get away from this place. When I was walking with our little daughter in the baby buggy one day I saw the words on a billboard (well it wasn’t really a billboard — there was only room for one little poster) “only 1 week to go” which had probably to do with the international soccer games that were about to take place, but I knew intuitively that these words were meant for me, for us: that we would receive the message within a week that we could move to a new home. I kept this knowledge still for five, six days full of confidence and expectation AND WE DID Receive the message that there was a home for us!! We picked up the keys and signed all of the papers before even taking a look at the house knowing everything was alright AND IT WAS!

It was 1988, and I had just declared bankruptcy. All of my money that I needed to pay my mortgage and other bills — about $1000 — was in a coffee can under the kitchen sink because I had closed my checking account. One morning I woke up remembering a terrible dream that the coffee can was EMPTY!. I got up and checked it immediately, and to my relief, the money was still there. The next day the cash was still there, so I mistakenly dismissed my premonition as an anxiety dream. On the third morning I discovered that my house guest had gambled all of the money at a local casino, and, yes, the can was indeed EMPTY!

However, that was not the most amazing part of the story. That same house guest had suggested that I enter the Palace Station Football Contest even though I am a woman who knew nothing about football or betting on football. I had entered that contest about 2 weeks prior to this occurrence, and now I had to use every ounce of intuition I could muster to try to replace that money with a cash prize.

The choices were just to determine which teams would win and which would lose — no point spreads involved. I wrote all of the team names down on a piece of paper and used a makeshift cardboard pointer similar to that on a Ouija Board, and also a pendulum to check, double-check, and triple-check the answers my pointer was stopping over, and with a prayer, put all of the winners that I had received intuitively on one ticket and all of the opposite teams ( the losers) on another ticket. The following day I received an awesome blessing: I HAD WON THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT — $5000 FOR ALL THE WINNERS AND $5000 FOR ALL OF THE LOSING TEAMS, A TOTAL OF $10,000, which the casino said no one had ever done before, and which I shared with my enigmatic house guest!

I was pregnant in the 49 th week and I felt pretty well, looked foreward to my baby…And from one moment to the other I got frightened and hat the very very strong feeling to go to the maternity clinic. In the clinic, the doctor was wondering what I was doing there and I just could say, I have this strong feeling. He messured my blood pressure and it was to high. He gave me some medicine and told me if I want I could go home and visit my doctor during the next day. And again I got this strong feeling to stay in the clinic and I stayed. During the next day they made a lot of tests and everything seemed to be ok with me and my baby. still to the moment where they wanted to see what happens when my Baby gets stress. So they provacate just a little labor pain and ten minutes later they prepared me for a Cesarean section, the heartbeat of my baby was now so weak, that they didn´t want to lose any time. Later they told me that my baby would´t had overlived normal labor pains.

Now, my baby is a 9 jear old healthy, wonderfull boy, he lives because when everything seemed to be all right, I had this strong feeling that something is wrong,

    CHILDREN

    Soon after birth
    We baptize our children
    To cleanse their souls,
    Then begins
    The long, slow process,
    Of theaching them sin.
    Every child is born
    A potential genius,
    Yet parents fear of change,
    And the knowledge
    That the easy road
    Is tradition over truth,
    Comdemns most to be dullards.

I decided to leave my country, egypt, 20 years ago. I was looking inside my heart and outside in this big open world where to go. One day I was on my way to the super market and I get hit in the back of my head and hear the word SPAIN. Spain was NOT on my list of preferences at all. I wanted to go to some exotic place. I wondered for a long time why Spain was chosen out of this whole world?. I decided to follow that intuition and got myself a plane ticket to fly to Madrid and from there to Salamanca. I convinced myself that learning spanish might be the reason why spain was the chosen country. Salamanca is where the purest spanish is learned and spoken. Two weeks before I leave a friend comes to have lunch with me accompanied by a swedish young girl with whom he was having a casual affair. When he mentioned to her my crazy decision she said ” you should go to Barcelona” it is the city of the sea, the culture is booming there and it is full of life.” Without any doubt I changed my ticket to fly to Barcelona. I landed in that beautiful city two weeks later. In the first three weeks when I was still in a state of shock of how I have landed there while walking in the streets I kept hearing Barcelona inviting me to stay. I was sent to a small shop where I found the first person who helped me find my first flat. Barcelona kept saying” stay here”, stay here”. I obeyed. It has been 20 years and I am still in spain. Spain gave me all I asked for when I decided to leave my country, Finding my vocation and finding the man I wanted to share my life with were my two main requests of life when I decided to leave. It took three years to get to know my vocation and 20 years to find my man. But Spain responded! Finding my vocation and my man was through a whole series of incredible intuitive moves. I would have shared all of them if there was space for it. The trip of intuitive moves that took a tour leader to be a psychotherapist is a story in itself. It feels like my life is GUIDED by intuition. I am grateful for this. On the other hand I feel I lack intuition to look at my health issues. Something I would love to develop but don’t seem able to do so. Wonder if the Silva can make this happen.

Back in November of 2006 I had to rely on intuition (although I have a different name for it — God’s quiet voice). I was at a low point in my life, had turned my back on all that was good, but God’s quiet voice answered me. ____I asked God to help me and guide me, what was my life’s purpose? One day I had the priviledge to hear a woman speak, a local minister, and her message was “Standing on the Promises of God” ____Well, that was a directive for me, it was a calling, a call to the ministry.____In John 15:16 Jesus says to all of us “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.” All we had to do was believe . ____Well the Church of Faith a church without walls was formed I gather up a list of 25 of my friends and sent out an email. Well today almost 3 and half years later that ministry has grown to 28 ministers that span the globe.____Intuition God’s quiet voice directing and orchestarting our path through life.__

Although I am past the deadline to submit my story due to computer problems I want to share it anyway. I belong to a group (we keep in touch online) who share our intuition with each other and pay close attention to it. I and another member many times have the same intuition at the same time. It is like a mind connect. In June of 2005 both he and I began to see (during meditations) a huge black cloud advancing on the US southern coastline through the Gulf of Mexico. We were puzzled by this and at times troubled as I also saw bodies floating in muddy water, lots of them. We both knew this was a terrible danger to the lower states such as Louisiana, Mississippi & Alabama, Texas, perhaps Florida & some of Georgia. At the time we considered it might have to do with an impending terriorist attack. I would see scenes of horrible devastation, people crying and wringing their hands and my mouth would be very dry. (Cont. on next post)

(Cont. from prev post) As the summer continued we saw it less and less but still knew this cloud was coming. We just stopped talking about it. We had posted all of this on the site we share. Then in August of 2005 Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast. I turned on the television one day to see the very pictures I had already seen in my meditations. We talked about this and both of us felt sad about the fact that although we had seen this coming there was no way we could have warned anyone and had them take us seriously. I hope that one day this will no longer be the case in our world and then many lives might be saved.

One Friday afternoon, I was wrapping up a chemistry lab experiment with my lab partner. We had a comprehensive mid-term exam on Monday. I went straight home after we finished, determined and ready to study the entire weekend. After getting home, I started to empty my backpack when I realized that I had two chemistry class books and two lab books. Right away, I knew I had accidentally grabbed my lab partners’ books.

Unfortunately, I didn’t know her outside of the lab and only knew her first name. I looked inside of her books hoping to find her last name or a clue to help me find her, but to no avail. I thought about calling the student resources department and our professors office, but it was already after 5pm, and the campus was empty when I left a half hour earlier.

I sat and pondered the situation for several minutes. I knew my partner would not pass the mid-term without her books this weekend. I had to try something. If I didn’t, I wouldn’t be able to concentrate and study either. After all, it was my fault; I grabbed her books and put them in my pack. So with these thoughts, I quietly thought and whispered for help, “Please help me find my lab partner, she really needs these books.”

I grabbed her books, hopped into my car and started driving back to school. When I came up on the first traffic light, I heard a voice saying, “Turn right.” The voice was so loud and distinct, I actually jumped and turned around to look in the back seat, fully expecting to see someone. No one was there. (intuition?) The light turned green and I made the right turn, whereas normally, I would have gone straight to get to campus.

As I was approaching a major intersection, the voice spoke again, “Turn left.” I maneuvered into the left-turn lane and turned left. I was now in downtown rush hour traffic on a Friday afternoon. To get to campus now, meant going at least ten miles out of my way. I then came up on another traffic light when it turned red. I was the first car stopped on the inside lane of a five lane road. I sat there waiting for the light to change when I heard the voice again: “Look ahead.”

I looked in front of me, and to my surprise and delight, there was my lab partner. She was the first car stopped at the light, in the inside lane, directly across from me in the oncoming traffic. I laughed as I rolled the window down and waved to get her attention. She saw me and I motioned for her to pull over. I turned myself around as fast and safely as I could and met her in a parking lot. She didn’t even realize yet that her books were missing. She was on her way home. I gave her books back and wished her a good weekend.

From the moment I asked for help in finding her, to the moment I gave her books back, was all of ten minutes. The following Monday we both aced the mid-term exam.

Around 1991, I was living in New York City, and was in the Vancouver Airport returning from a vacation when I noticed a woman that looked like a friend of my mother’s that I hadn’t seen for over 20 years eating lunch with another, older woman. I approached her, and she stated that she was NOT that woman and that we had never met before. I forgot about this encounter until 1997, when I started a job in Massachusetts, and kept noticing that one of my fellow employees looked familiar…Bottom line, it was the same woman from the Vancouver Airport! I actually asked her “Excuse me, but were you eating lunch in the Vancouver Airport in 1991 when someone who looked like me walked up to you and asked you if you were a friend of his mother’s…”? I went on to work in the same place as this woman for the next 3 years, and we became good friends.

Through several times I noticed that if I followed my intuition things get better than if I planned them. So, once I was playing at a roulette in a fantasy casino and for repetead ocasions I hit the winning number and I was very excited winning all the time so I didn´t noticed that the croupier was very suspicious about me (I didn´t realized it until the end) so he finally checked on the dice to see if they were somehow altered and asked me to leave the table. I know that I was winning because I was following my intuition. But he didn´t understand, bad for him¡¡¡ This confirmed that I was right listening to myself.

Intuition can be a life saver. My best friend was pregnant and due any day, she was out with her husband at a local Florida spring. She saw a guy riding a motorcycle close by and her intutition told her jump into the back of the truck. No sooner than her feet landed in the truck the guy on the motorcycle slid into the back of the truck hitting her husbands legs. He was taken to the hospital for a few stitches, but if the guy had hit her, she could have lost the baby. I look at intution as a precious gift. A life saving gift, as it was for my friend Linda and her healthy baby girl.

Me and two cousins took the bus to another town just outside of Atlantic city.We were lost without directions. one cousin went one way, the other went another way and I sat on the sidewalk. I went into a small prayer. Then I followed it with the deep like meditation I taught myself( did I mention I learned from reading books ?)and thought Now ask the first person you see for help. I flagged down a car and said, really excited, I’m lost I need to make a call and trying to get to my aunt’s house. The man said go to this first house and knock on the door. Tell the lady that Mr. Such and such sent you. I walked to the door knocked and said the man right there said to ask if I could use your phone, and pointed to his car as he waved. She let me in and went to the phone and just before she picked it up it rang. She spoke to someone saying“yeah girl I’m going to my girlfriend’s house. She’s having a barbeque, yeah her name is Vickie”. I immediately and excitedly shouted that’s my aunt that’s where i’m trying to go! She said let me call you back and I told her my story and she called my aunt and told her we were on our way.

ONe of the reasons i enen started this is because my mom used to got to Atlantic city race track. she would say tell me some numbers and sometimes I would tell her three and sometimes four. I vividly remember her early on, once saying I was short on money so I didn’t play it and I would have won. So started asking me and playing them and won more than a few times. She would give me books to look at and give me money if she won but I never would use the books. If I did look at the books I didn’t get that feeling all the time and she did not win.

It is amazing how our intuition can be informative. A week ago I had my intuitive feeling about my cousin who had arranged with our aunt, a director in a land buying firm, to process the acquisition of plots he had bought; but he had been dragging his feet. On this particular day I suddenly had a thought on how he could stand to lose if anything happened to our aging aunt. The next day this cousin of mine called to inform me that our aunt had a road accident, at the same time I had the intuitive thought, and she was admitted in a hospital. What a coincidence. I actually want to develop my intuition.

I do not know if you call this an intuition or just a dream. I saw a plane crash which is not that big of a dream but what happened afterwards was something that has never left me. Reporters came with cameras but nothing was left just debris and smoke. But I saw something amazing! People started popping up from the ground! Fully intact, no injuries. They looked up and saw a light, they floated into this light. What I know clearly, what I remember vividly is that none of these souls cried, none were looking for there loved ones and none looked scared or sad. They just went up into a lighted sky. The whole imagery and thoughts that press into my mind is that we know where to go from here, we are spirits in human bodies and life after death is real, heaven is real, and seeing is believing. I do not know why I dreamed this dream but it has stayed with me and sharing it seems kind of scary but this might be the right audience.

I have heard my inner voice since I can remember. My knowing things in advance has not always been accepted and still many will not listen but I am just a messenger. My most profound recent experience occurred late winter 2009. I went to bed on a Friday night but felt something was wrong with our furnace. My husband told me it was okay, we had it checked out in the fall and serviced twice that winter. By Saturday I knew that the furnace was putting out carbon monoxide, even though there were no signs of it. Again my husband told me to ignore it, but I called the furnace man anyway only to find out that it was putting out carbon monoxide and it would have reached lethal levels within a few days. We replaced the furnace and have not experienced any further problems. My husband now pays attention to my intuition as it saved our lives.

A few years ago I had a dream : My grandmother told me that we will not see as agine. Well I do live in Brasilien and my grandmother lives in Austria. So I did tryed to give here a call. But I did not get truth. So I called my mother, recount here my dream, and my mother said, “Don’t worry your gandmother is still very healty and alive, but I will send here the best wishes from you.” Few days after my mother gave my a call and said to me:
“Amazing you could feel the dead from your grandmother, she died today in the morning.

So many stories, this is my fav because the intuition’s not translated through the mind. I spent a long time wandering solo in wilderness areas all around the US. There’s a zone you get in resonating with all the life force around for weeks on end.

Driving through South Dakota I flashed on wishing for an organic espresso (not being a coffee drinker, I wanted a jolt for a long drive!); about 30 minutes later I sort of ‘came to’ as I exited the highway and made all these turns until I ended up in line at a rural organic espresso drive thru. Mind just watched body make the turns.

Later that same day, as the sun was about to set, I wished for a health food store to find something to make for dinner. I put out the desire and forgot about it — same thing happened only more complex turns and unmarked store, located in an office complex.

Two days before — same thing only with specific hiking boots I’d flashed on needing; perfect pair just my size for $30 at a Sierra Trading outlet store that I came upon in the manner described above.

More than intuition, it was as if perspective shifted from being a human reaching up to infinity, to being infinity manifesting as a human — perceiving the details of what was needed and how to fill the need even before it came to my conscious awareness.

I think this situation is more the universe telling me to wake up and listen to what my intuition was telling me.

The sun had just gone down on Tortolla, a British Virgin Island and I was sitting on the beach with two friends. We were sitting quite a ways from where the sea was quietly lapping onto the beach when two men came behind us and sat on lawn chairs in close proximity to where my friends and I were sitting. An alarm went off in my head “get up, get up, get up” yet I remained sitting. I don’t know why I ignored the warning but the universe decided to force me to listen. Less than a minute after my alarm sounded the softly lapping water rushed up under us forcing us off the ground. We jumped up with wet pants at the exact same moment that one of the men grabbed my friend’s purse and walked away down the beach. Her purse was thankfully recovered by our third friend.

In fall of 2007, I had feeling all day long of something to be noticed…All day long, my father and I were edgy. When dusk came round , it rained and became windy, and I had the feeling to take my dog for a walk, AND to bring a source of light along… As I walked with the dog on this dark — now calm night I just had the feeling to wait on a corner at an intersection of a street…I actually stood there for about a min. when I noticed a bright light from a truck driver truck.… And I still waited and watched as he made a wrong turn for no apparent reason, because he was on the right road to begin with.

I had a suspicion that I was pregnant, so I went to the store to get a pregnancy test. While browsing the store I forgot all about the suspected pregnancy.
I happened upon an endcap where everything was on clearance and found 2 packages of “It’s A BOY” announcements. My first instinct was to put these into my cart. I then stopped myself and said “why would I need these?” Without another thought I said outloud “I bet I’m pregnant and I bet it is a boy.” Sure enough I was pregnant and it was a boy!!!!

I was a young college student in Sao Paulo, Brazil, teaching night classes to supplement my income. I always took the bus home but that night a fellow teacher offered me a ride home. My first impulse was to say no, thanks. But, afraid of being indelicate and anxious to get home earlier, I pushed the feeling aside and accepted the ride. The route my friend took was different from the bus route. A summer storm started as we neared the center of town. The street lights were out. My friend was driving fast, while telling me a story about one of her students. Suddenly, I felt she needed to stop the car. I started screaming “stop the car, stop the car” She braked. The car stopped at the edge of a trench carved by fast running water. If we had fell, the water would have carried the VW Beatle into the Tiete River. We would be dead. We were able to stop other cars, too. My friend kept asking me: how did you know?

I know the contest is over, but here’s my story:

August 2001 I was driving back in the middle of the night from a gig in Northern-Holland. It was a cold, dark and misty night and it was hard to see on the highway that had no lights. Suddenly a minivan appeared before me. It was going really slow and I wanted to pass it. “Stay where you are” a voice within told me. In less then a minute I noticed the minivan blinking towards the shoulder, then swinging out of control to the left and back at full speed to the shoulder area, rolling over and coming to a stop in a deep ditch.
The minivan was invisible to anyone on the highway and I was the only one out there at that time of night. I stopped, called the Dutch emergency nr and went to check out the van.
When I opened the driver’s door I noticed a body hanging lifeless in the seat.. but immediately I also heard heartbreaking screaming. Two little arms reached up at me and before I knew it I had thrown away my phone and pulled a panicking 9 year old girl out of the van.
As police and ambulances arrived I was still holding her, her legs wrapped around my waist, telling her she was safe. I saw them pull out her mom… I had never seen lips that blue.. I knew the woman didn’t make it.
Before I stepped into the ambulance with the little girl (I refused to leave her), an ambulance guy pulled me aside and whispered: “I’m so sorry to tell you.. But her mom didn’t make it..“
I stayed with the girl all night until her family came to pick her up and tell her the devastating news that I had known for hours. As I waited in the hospital for friends to pick me up (at 6am) the hospital staff told me I was an angel sent from heaven. No one would’ve seen the accident and the girl would’ve been all by herself for the whole night with her deceased mother.
I am so grateful to have been able to really serve…

Even though it’s not Feb 1, I am going to write about a time when everything clicked. As a Therapeutic Touch practioner, I had been practicing diligently for several months. I was able to “read” a lady across the room. I took one of those deep breaths and centered myself and opened up to the energy in the room. I was in the Zone and my hands were right on the mark for whatever problems the lady was blocking. It was a changing point in my intuition and fuel for my passion of helping people. Being a nurse, I’m always trying to get others to move past blocks and to reach a level of self-sufficiency that’s healthy. Promoting health and well-being is second nature to me. I also enjoyed watching Vishen’s hour video about his wife proudly wears a cubic zirconia ring and his focus on Tae Kwon Do and belief in himself led to an Olympic medal and he was just a substitute.

The moon was full and I´d just graduated as an actress from an Acting School that night, 27 years old. And I wanted to celebrate. With someone special — which wouldn´t have been a problem if I´d just known that someone, which I didn´t at the time — being a foreigner in this English country. So I made a wish (according to a book I´d just read): “Please, Higher-self (whom now I call God), give me someone to kiss and to cuddle.“
Then before I knew, I had walked to the railway station and taken the underground.
And before I know, as I´m sitting there, I turn my head to the left — not looking first to see who´s sitting there — and say, without thinking: “Excuse me, do you know the time?” And as I do, my eyes sink into those brown, deep, beautiful eyes. Of a man. Dark and 7 years younger. “Midnight, exactly, he replied. I blushed, awashed by his eyes and could say no more. Neither did he but waited for me to get out, 7 stops away from his home (he later told me). And as I stepped out, he stepped out, saying: “So you live also in Hampstead?! Can I walk you home?“
    How could I resist?
So we walked into the night, shot by a rocket from out of the blue, talking, sharing our dreams, ambitions and stories. “Do you know that in my country, Israel, we believe a man finds a true princess at midnight when the moon is full?” he asked. “No,” I replied, overjoyed, “and do you know, I love Jews and always have, from since I was a child!“
That´s how we started our walk of love. Walking for hours the streets of London around and around my house, dreading the moment of good-bye. Then standing in the doorway, he kissed me and said, with his big, beautiful, warm lips: “My Icelandic princess, I´m so sorry, I´m not Jewish, I´m Arabic, do you mind?” And what a kiss! “Black or white, red or yellow, Jewish or Arabic, I don´t mind,” I couldn´t but say, “kiss me again, my prince!“
This is how I met one of the finest men I´ve ever known, my noble, wise and brave Palestinian Arab, Gus, whom I loved for those 7 days and 7 nights we were meant for each other and think of with warmth, respect and gratitude — now loving both Arabs and Jews!
What I didn´t know then, I know now, I should ask of more than just “a kiss and a cuddle!”

I was on my way to work, waiting at a “T” intersection for my light to turn green. I was waiting at what would be the base of the “T” about to turn left on the far right turning lane. Finally my light turns and the guy next to me starts to move, but even though I released the break I can’t press the gas. The car is inching forward and I look to my left and notice a big rig about to stop. So I am thinking OK, he isn’t going to make it, but I still can’t press on the gas to get away, suddenly I look to my right, and from out of nowhere (literally around the corner) comes this pick-up, full speed, and misses his red light. The pick up was less than a foot away from t-boning me into the car in the far left turning lane. I thought because I saw the big rig that that was why I couldn’t press the gas, but It was the truck that came out of nowhere that I was saved from. It all happened within half a minute, after which I could press the gas. Let me just tell you that my car was already victim to a hit and run, and the driver side is completely smashed in as is, but since it still runs… Well I really think that the pick-up was going fast enough to do serious if not mortal damage.
    I am truly blessed. =)

It was year 2006 and I was going through a really bad patch at work. I spent most of my days wondering what I was doing wrong and making all efforts possible to impress my seniors with my work. That was a truly a time of anxiety and low self esteem for me.

Just when I felt I could take it no longer and was seriously contemplating putting in my papers a calm descended on me. There is no logic to why I felt that everything was going to be all right and that I would land my dream job within the next fifteen days.

It was truly amazing but within the next 10 days my dream job found me and I got the perfect work atmosphere with the salary that I always wanted and there has been no looking back for me ever since.

Someone very close to me shared that she had fallen in love with her professor. I had never met him. She described him to me as a kind man with a pipe and leather padded elbows in his tweed jacket. I interrupted her with “in two weeks he is going to break down and sob with you.” She didn’t believe me.

She called in two weeks and said “what are you, a witch? How did you know?!” Apparently when he was a little boy his Mother was murdered. She had a cold and didn’t want to kiss him and his brothers goodbye. She was only going to be gone a little while and would be back to pick them up. She was murdered during that time period. He was sobbing because he didn’t get to kiss his Mother goodbye. He had never met anyone he felt he could share this with.

How did I know that someone I had never met was going to sob over this two weeks before he did it? I’ll never know. I just knew.

By the way, they got married!!

It was intuition that kept me alive for these 43 years of pain, struggle, HEAVY disappointments, many years DEEP loneliness, Much frustration and many many tears. I was essentially abandoned by both parents, one would not claim any relation. The other made it their LIFE to try and WRECK MINE. I had a Dark Angel who was sent to me shortly after birth by Satan himself to DESTROY ME. I was not intended to survive my life of hardships. But I did, and my heart, mind, and spirit are all very strong today, All because of a little thing called INTUITION. You see, I was raised in the church. I knew my VALUE in the eyes of GOD. “I know I’m SOMETHING, cause God don’t make no JUNK!”, was my basic attitude. And when things were very hard it was SIMPLY the KNOWING that it was all happening to ME for some IMPORTANT REASON or GREAT PURPOSE. When my own Baby was still just a tiny “Sprout”, I learned that I was to become this worlds Patron Saint of Social Disease. (The Certificate is dated July 15, 2002. ) That KNOWING, I tell ya, WAS KEY!!

I have had alot of great benefits from my intuition and am learning new skills in hopes of improving it. I decided to share a all positive story with you.
My mom and I went to the store and I noticed they were having a drawing for a vacation for 2. I thought I would like to win this for my mom and dad hmmm, and my intuition said put in for it you will win, so I did. I told my mom that I put in for it and knew I was going to win (she didn’t know it was for her and my dad) she said yah right. Soon we were checking out and I ask when they were going to draw the winner and they said in a minute, my mom said lets go and I said in a minute as I know they are going to draw my entry, she said I’ll meet you at the car, I said ok. Then they drew the winner it was me, yah whoooo I went running to the car to tell her, she still didn’t believe me until the store manager that followed me out told her. I love when I have intuition so strong that it is like you know for sure. Oh and my parents had a wonderful well deserved vacation !

I had a vivid dream in about October 2004. From my house high on a hill overlooking the bay, I saw the biggest blackest scariest tornado coming towards land. I ran to the beach and grabbed my mothers hand and tried to get her back home, but she couldnt keep up and her hand slipped from mine and I had to let her go. Next thing, I was back at the beach front and to my horror, for as far as I could see in any direction, the devistation was horrendous. Everything was in ruins, buildings, people dead and there was rubbish for miles. I got back to my house and my family was safe. (back to reality) After this dream, My inner voice started saying to me (seemingly from out of nowhere).… “its going to happen around christmas”.….(“whats going to happen around christmas?” I would ask myself.) My voice kept repeating it, every now and then, from out of nowhere. Then, guess what.…., boxing day 2004, the biggest earthquake in living memory occurred and total devistation on many beaches on mother earth with the following Tsunami.

I am not writing for the price, I am writing hopefully for some answers. I used to travel for my work at one time I was supposed to go with two others to Milwaukee the last minute I decided to change my flight plans still don’t know why the plane crashed and my co-workers died. When I meet someone for the first time 98% of the time what I feel about that person turns out to be true. I can heal others not myself I would like to know why. I don’t do much healing any more since I have been called a witch because of it. Now I only heal people close to me, even that is not a good idea, my brother was in an accident and had chronic back pain I told him that I will heal his back which I did and now my sister-in-law will not even come to my house or invite me to theirs, she said it is not natural to do what I do.

I’m a US citizen in Canada,

Tonight, I ate the last navel orange in a bag I had purchased last week. Sunkist had bagged them and the boxes that I was purchasing before I went to bags. In both the boxes and bags, Sunkist was putting some hockey cards–I hadn’t noticed if they all are Canadian players or not–but as I opened the little packing around the card, I thought to myself, Wouldn’t it be interestoing if I were to get the card of the Canadian Olympic Team player that hit the winning goal.

Well, I did. I got Sidney Crosby–whom I like to kid my wife is Cindy Crosby (They shouldn’t allow girls on the man’s team, & etc.). Wow!

    ooooooOOOOOOOOoooooo!
