If Your Inner Child Could Speak, This Is What He Or She Might Say To You

by Gabrielle Lim

"Hello there, it's me, your past self, your inner child..."

Think for one moment just what your child-self might say to you. Would they be happy? Or would they be sad and neglected?

Well, if your inner child could come out and speak, this is what they might say...

This animation is by Peter H. Reynolds from FableVision.com, a company that seeks to expand education and help learners reach their full potential. They have some more fun stuff on their website if you want to revisit your childhood. Or better yet, pass it on to your kids. They might get a kick out of it and learn a lot more about themselves and the world.

But for now, my question to you is this:

If your inner child had only 1 sentence to say to you, what would it be?

oh... such a nice video! Thanks for that! Yes... it happens quite often that people just grow up. But in most of the cases we are actually still living like a 3 year old kid. Somebody told you something when you were 3 and you decided that you are not good enough and this rules you till the rest of your life...

Embracing and loving the child inside you is one of the best methods for dealing with one's limiting beliefs.

so very true and compelling. Most of us don't even realize that we have it, but it reveals itself at times like a rainy day.
Loving and embracing your inner child makes you whole and complete. Picking those small portions of you which were left behind without your knowledge gives an immense sense of satisfaction and also makes you feel strong that now you are ready to take care and responsibility of yourself.

Amazing work,

Hello Team,

Thanks for the prompt. A few months ago, I came across a 9X12 portrait of me at about 4 years of age. I gazed upon it for a few minutes and realized I love that boy and that boy is me. So that boy said love me. I had it scanned in two versions and the head shot is now my profile picture at Facebook and it seems my female friends are quite taken with it. I recommend this technique to anyone who wants to get/keep in touch with their inner child.

Let us daily increase in: wisdom, love, gratitude, healing, peace, joy, happiness, laughter and prosperity.

Blessings X 10,

Ed

I think my inner child is sooo alive in me. I do not want to grow up. I am fifty -five going on 15 and I like it. Of course i have done grown-up things but I continue to feed the inner me. It is that wonder in me, that thirst for knowledge and the playfulness that keeps my inner child fed. Thank you for reminding me of me.

My inner child would say, "I was so unhappy and depressed. Why didn't anyone get me any help? Why was I abused? Please hold me close and stroke my hair gently and tell me everything is going to be alright."

I am a cancer survivor 20 years now.I changed my diet .Had martial arts and meditation training helping me through it and it did . One thing I always try to do when making a decision about something is to think back to my childhood self and what I would do. Then I make a decision on whats next! Ask your inner self whats up!
