Hard Wire Your Brain To Automatically Be Intuitive

Imagine this: You’re going about your day to day job, when suddenly you get a gut feeling that you’ve made a mistake. No one has pointed this out to you, and you think you’ve done everything right–but a lingering feeling inside you says otherwise.

You didn’t get the strange gut feeling because of a coincidence–your brain actually sent chemicals throughout your body–its automatic error-detection system detecting an imbalance. This error-detecting system you have is automatic–and it has saved you from likely failure on at least more than one occasion.

We are fortunate that this system exists, because the human mind is prone to small errors at different times. Especially when we work in high pressure, high stakes environments — the cost of a small mistake can be large — if we do not act on out automatic in-built inhibition in time. In many work environments, when thousands of lives or hundreds of millions of dollars have been on the line — the quick intuition of thrifty engineers or project managers has lead to reverse decisions that would have otherwise turned fatal.

The secret is being able to listen to our brains automatic error-detection system — and ultimately use it to our advantage. We must be able to recognize when our braining is telling us that something is not quite right — and act on it accordingly. Failure to follow our intuition simply because it disagrees with one or more opinions on our team can prove fatal.

i believe in intuition but i am not sure how to deal with it, especially with relationships, i think their someone i work with very interested in me but not sure, if its me hoping she is interested or i really sense something because of the smiles, the long looks etc. does it work for relationships

I have lived most of my life listening to my gut instinks. I had to learn when it was that automatic error thing or something else. when i could tell the difference it was always correct. A person may never know what he missed by listening. I have seen some things and i tell you learn to listen to it. I am still learning to listen. There were so many times i wished i had listened.

I’m afraid I have to disagree with this one. If our thoughts don’t even come from our brain then how does our intuition? According to numerous studies by neurologists, psychologist, and others of note (do some research for yourself or check out victor zammit’s website) our thoughts come from outside of our brain.

This idea of the brain creating thoughts is like our physical heart creating love… what tha? Our physical heart is a muscle.

Yes we have intuition. As a friend tells me: listen to your first thought. It is often the one you totally overlook.

We are actually spirits inside a body. When we die we can still see… and er… think. When we are asleep we can still ‘see’. Do some thinking and some research and learn why we’re really here. Don’t be swayed by other people’s opinions but form your own using your new-found intuition.

We all act on our intuition or feelings, and then make up logical reasons (or excuses) to justify the actions we take. If you are honest with yourself, you will be able to look back at every action you have taken and see that you had a choice, and you chose an action because of how you felt about it. Others may have influenced you, but equally, you took their advice because of how you felt about them, or what they said, or how they said it. there is never any real logic — we are not computers, and our brains work NOTHING like computers. No matter how many times you hear that “your brain is like a computer” it is not, nor will it ever be, and you cannot even act like it is!

You need an online editor. You have a number of gramatical errors in your text.

In the past i have used my intuition to help me get answers that i asked for.At the time i didn’t know it was called intuition.I could see it in pictures and they were never wrong. All this was years ago and now i am trying to get it back.I don’t know if when we die we can still see because nobody that has died has spoken to me yet.I hope to find out one of these days.

    Hi — yesyesyeysyeysyeysyeysyes
intuition is powerful and you have to listen to it — I know that — wow —wow —-wow — listen to your faith — faith in the world and people — listen heard and it feels good — thanks for giving me this chance to express myself — thanks a lot — #70John R

I like Lane’s comments and have even experienced that intuition myself.

Although chemical reactions may represent a warning signal to our brain that we may have made a mistake in our work environment it still cannot explain how a mother instinctively knows her child is in danger when miles away.

Yes, indeady. Looking up some basics on emotional Intelligence should help with intuition. Another trick is to drop negative judgmental words. It doesn’t deal well with those. I try to us descriptive words instead. You two have to speak the same language. That will get you a lot more than intuition or a very strong one as, if I want, I can see the images it uses in it’s vision logic and see how it reaches conclusions, not to mention accessing our creativity and joy, compassion and our genius inside us all. You can even answer the question of what is truth or were to look to find out and resist mind control as you will be controllng it directly. I can’t imagine why anyone wouldn’t make a study of this phenomena as it gives you personal power, confidence, popularity and the list goes on and on. Check my free website.

I know that intuition works. I have had many occasions to listen to my intuition and make good decisions based upon the intuitive insights that come. One such instance was in March of 2008. I got this intuitive hit to move my money out of the Stock Market. My financial manager was in a frenzy because of this choice, but when July came and went; I had not lost any money. I have also had many occasions when my intuition informed me to take a different route to work, or to drive my kids to school a different direction. I listened, and found later that either bad accidents had happened, or that the street was jammed with traffic due to construction. Intuition simply requires that a person be open to receiving information. I find that being specific about a question or situation gives me specific feedback. Our ability to be mentally everywhere is a faculty worth developing. It is not that difficult since intuition is a natural sense, rather than a supernatural sense. I have found intuition to be quite direct, this is how I discern intuitive information from basic information that was stored in memory somewhere. I use the Silva Life System Method, and have found it very practical and simple for the development of intuition. It has helped me in my relationships, business interactions and kept me from dealing with individuals of lower moral character. I can sense when people are not being truthful, and when they have a hidden agenda. Intuition has helped me in all areas of my life, but I had to be willing to listen, see, or feel what it was trying to communicate to me.

The note leads to many points which could take anyone to very deep discussions and never reach a total confort for the mayority. nevertheless, there is physical intution, the kind that tells you from your gut if something will threat you life of if will cost you greatly. That you know instantly, even when you meet a person. one the other hand you have your wisdom intuition,it is the one that hits your concious mind in order for you to recognize or be ware of the presence of the divine in your every day normal experiencies. Also gives the clarity to admit that everything happens for a reason and the reason is good…always. Divine intution leads our lives constantly, it is our own misery of being so involved with control issues and fear that blind us from seeing, feeling and listening to it. In any case if it helps we are 100% intutive people, it is in our nature.

Ask anybody who cares for and works with animals about intuition, both with the animals and also between the animals and humans. Not forgetting that people who are in these positions of animal care and contact develop a natural respect that is mutually reciproacated. We will learn a lot from the natural world — you can forecast the weather by my two dogs behaviour and reading their patterns. One of my dogs will sometimes bark a few seconds before the phone rings. The other will sometimes find things I have misplaced.
