We had over 9,500 people sign up for a recent interview with Helene Hadsell. Starting from the moment that the first few people got a chance to listen to Helene's interview, her phone has been ringing off the hook and her inbox has been flooded with emails. I spoke to her this morning and she told me that she still had 350 emails to reply to.

I don't know where Helene, who is 84 years old (a correction, in our last post we mentioned she was 83), gets all of that energy from!
I first heard about Helene Hadsell through my friend Kate Roberts. She told me about an out-of-print book Helene had wrote decades ago, and showed me a blog post on her by Joe Vitale. I was intrigued, so I Googled her name to find out everything I could about her life. Somehow I stumbled upon her email address and wrote to her to ask if I could interview her for FinerMinds.
She replied within 24 hours.
That first interview blew me away. Helene's stories mesmerized me. What was supposed to be a one hour interview turned into two solid hours. I decided I had to meet this lady.

Coincidentally, it turned out Helene lived in Alvarado, Texas. And I was actually going to be in Whitney, Texas in 4 weeks for a charity fundraiser. Whitney and Alvarado are only 35 minutes apart.
And so on a beautiful summer day in September, Mike, our friend Melissa, and I drove to visit Helene. We planned on spending 6 hours with her before flying out to LA.
Helene was not happy to hear this. She was under the impression that we were going to stay the night. She had prepared her guesthouse for us and cooked a nice meal. "It's nice to have company," she said.
And then another coincidence struck. Our plans to LA got changed.
Turned out we were spending the night!
We spent all day filming Helene. We shot over 8 hours of footage and our encounter with Helene left us completely transformed. Helene's wisdom and knowledge are so profound and yet so simple and easy to apply to your own life, I was completely stunned.
In between the filming, Mike, Melissa and I each had private sessions with Helene where she told us things about our lives and who we are that only a close friend could have known.

She told me things about my son, my career, my way of doing business that were spot on. It was slightly eerie, yet amazing.
We left at 5am the next morning to catch our flights. Helene shakes up your view of "reality". She's an amazingly joyful, loving person. And after you've met her - you never feel the same again. During the trip, Helene shared some of her goals with me. She no longer needs to win contests. Now she's working on a play she wants to get on the Hallmark channel, a new bestselling book she wants to get into Borders, and she's aiming to get on the David Letterman show.
I decided to help her with her book.
The footage we took is going to be turned into a documentary. And we'll be bundling this with her book and some CDs to create a product based on Helene's teachings. She can no longer do seminars. It's too tiring for her. But being able to spread her light via DVD, book and CD is the next best thing.

when will this be available to the public?
Aside from the benefits that Helenes knowledge will bring to other people I think it is a wonderful thing that a true Elders story is to be recorded for all time.A Science of mind / New Thought / Prosperity Consciousness Elder extraordinnaire...
We lose so many Elders who have not recorded their wisdom and life experiences and doing this digital history project with and for Helene is a wonderful gift and a true acknowledgement for Helene that her life is a life well lived!
Many indigenous cultures have the tradition whereby when approaching an Elder for advice /story /information etc... a gift is taken, beyond the money exchange. I get the feeling that Helene would love a box of Turkish Delights! (;-)

I would love to purchase Helen's book-just wanted to let you know that after listening to Helen's interview-my husband and I won door prizes that same night at a appreciation dinner put on for us at the country club in Minnesota. It was no $10,000 dollars just really small prizes but the fact remains is that we still won!

i've been in a bit of a financial mess the past couple of weeks - my tenants weren't able to pay their rent, my jobs were all late paying me and i couldn't pay MY landlord.
all my friends around me are losing their jobs so i couldn't ask anyone to borrow money...
i should add that i am a single mum with 3 daughters.
so i decided i would use helen's SPEC method. i focused and decided that i would have the money for the rent by the end of the day on monday.
called EVERYONE and no money came in. i was disappointed. but i put it out of mind. faith being key.
and just as i was bringing one of my daughters home from a ballet rehearsal, i realized i hadn't checked the mail box.
lo and behold, there was a check - paid EARLY - for a job.
it exactly covered the rent.

Yes it is quite wonderful what she has achieved but I fear it is all more of the same fantasy - The American Dream of aquiring more stuff that is little use to us on our spiritual journey. I believe we need to remember that we are not physical beings seeking spirit, but are essentially spiritual beings suffering the experience of being physical. As such all her wisdom is of little use to me. I wonder what she would say in answer to me and if anyone else feels as I do.

I listened to Helene's interview on Sunday,on Tuesday I received a phone call that I had won 2 tickets for three different Plays for the next three months.
I had entered a drawing for these tickets the week before and forgotten about the drawing.
Since I have been reading more of the law of attraction I have been winning more contests in the last year than I have in the past 30
years.
This is very exciting!
Sometimes it takes a no nonsense gal (84 years young!) to show us how simple, child-like faith CAN move mountains! It is great to see the wisdom of senior citizens being tapped (our failure to value that aspect as a culture here in the USA has caused us to miss much!), and I thoroughly enjoyed the interview, and will be applying the SPEC method. It is very hard to put a price on such information, but I disagree with the ones that think something so pure shouldn't have a price , since we don't live in a utopian society nor in a socialistic one, and need the means (money ) to make this information available to all who want it, but it should be priced with a modest profit so that all,even the poorest can afford it, how else will everyone advance spiritually?. we need to advance everyone spiritually for their and the earth's sake.

After the interview I googled her name and found a pdf file with all Helenes' info. including prices,products and address. I Sent a check with my order, received books yesterday. Couldn't sleep until I finished reading them....Now I am patiently waiting for my blueprint. I live on disability & foodstamps, and I believe in My Higher Power, to supply me with ALL my wants...not just my needs... And Law of Attraction, attracted me to Helene and I LOVE HER.. What ever price is asked it will be worth more than that. Money is only energy. It has to be spent, and you get to choose on what.
Its come at the right time to remind every human who cares to think so, the inner field of human potential and possibilities remain unshaken while the external world may be crumbling with recession, wars..........We can still achieve want we want and not rely on the external agencies to support us. Dear Helene,
I'm 68 and recently learned a tip you might be able to use. I already had quite a background in Christianity, psychology, philosophy and I suspect something on everything on earth so when I found that my thinking was hampered by judgmental or bias opinion words, I switched them for descriptive words and got "the spirit of truth that leads you into all truth, even the deep things of God." The brain so likes information and can figure everything out subconsciously with information and an open mind for all the possibilities that God tells us in that still small voice Ezekiel mentioned when he said, paraphrased, the wind came but God wasn't in the wind and the fire came but God wasn't in the fire but in the still small voice. The Word is so importatnt. Enjoy.
