From Brain Hemorrhage To Nirvana — The Strange Journey Of A Woman Studying Her Own Brain

I’m sure many of you have heard of Jill Bolte Taylor. She is the neuroanatomist who had a stroke and managed to study it and recover from it.

In this amazingly brilliant TED talk, Jill gives a stirring speech on the differences between the left and right brain and the complexities and peculiarities of having your brain shut down.

Her inner dialogue during her stroke is both profound and humorous and dares to question the state of Nirvana and how all of us have the ability to reach that state of bliss. It took a stroke to make her realize it but perhaps by watching this video, you won’t have to go through the same hassle.

I liked this video for its content and its appeal to the “we“‘ inside the “I” . It asks us to come out from the skeleton of flesh and blood to realise the ” WE” within us. great.
