Okay, so we need a new FinerMinds tagline. Why? Well, the FinerMinds team and I sat down and came up with our 5 core values. And based on these new values, we need a new tagline.
This is where you come in. If you can come up with an brilliant, slightly quirky, memorable tagline that we can use, you’ll get a free ticket to Awesomeness Fest worth $4000. So here’s the low down on Awesomeness Fest.
This December 2 — 5 2010, on a beach in Costa Rica, I’ll be hosting Awesomeness Fest. We’re bringing together music + personal growth + fun and adventure. 300 people will be exposed to the hottest personal growth ideas of 2010. We’ll also bring in amazing musicians, bands, and some of the most incredible speakers in the field of personal growth. The event’s got a huge focus on bonding and team activities. The idea is that people who attend will form and create a whole new network of friends and contacts who can help them in their upward spiral of growth. The event is by invitation only and the ticket package we’re giving is worth $4000 (for you and a friend). That doesn’t include hotel or airfare but it’s pretty cheap if you’re coming in from North America.
Because it’s invitation only, you won’t see lots of promos for it. But you’ll get to come with a guest where we can chill by the beach and I’ll introduce you to some of the coolest people ever. You and a friend will be coming as my personal guests.
So here are our 5 core values that you can use as inspiration for your winning tagline 
- We are authentic. We are honest, open, uncensored and genuine. We will be bold, rebellious, quirky, and fun.
- The reader always comes first. We are compassionate, we provide quality content that is free, neutral, and unbiased. We always give the reader a choice.
- We are a community. We facilitate fellowship, interaction, and sharing.
- We always shake things up. We’re not afraid to introduce alternative thought, think outside the box, expand our readers’ perspective, and blow their minds.
- Our readers trust us. We don’t push you to buy, we’ll protect our list, and we only recommend the highest quality products.
And based on these values, here were our tagline suggestions:
- The happy rebel’s daily guide to personal growth
- Campaigning for your success and happiness every day.
- The best thing that ever happened to you… excluding sex.
- Personal growth without all the BS
- Because you can drink beer and be spiritual, successful, and happy too.
- Your spirit guide across the desert of personal growth. Less scary than a coyote.
- More than fluffy clouds and fake smiles. This is personal growth that works.
- FinerMinds — Personal growth that works faster than viagra. (And with happier side effects)
- Where personal growth junkies come to get their daily hit.
