A Key Insight On Motivation

by Mike Reining

Do you ever wonder how the great get even greater? Or why some people soar high above while some get stuck down below? It all comes down to motivation and staying focused.

In this video presentation, I will discuss the one factor that, without it, we might as well just throw in the towel. This same thought is shared also by Dan Sullivan, one of the highest paid consultants in the field of entrepreneurship. And this key to reaching for the stars comes down to celebrating the small successes.

By taking small steps, cherishing the small accomplishments and showing gratitude daily, we all can realize that seemingly hard-to-reach goal.

Join me in exploring the key to staying motivated in this short video presentation.

I think this is very good advice but I find it quite difficult to define my successes every day. It should get easier with practise I suppose.

Thank you so much Mike!

This video has been such encouragement and 'motivation' for me not to give up on two goals I hold very close to my heart. I now recognize that where I am now is higher than where I began...even if the line or the path included many set backs. I am so grateful for this! I will definitely make it a habit of celebrating the little successes I have accomplished that day, and if I had a set back, look for the lesson and be thankful for at least being higher than where I started from.

Thank you for the lesson!

Great and valuable insights. I work with young people and all that was described seems to be exactly what they need to know in to stay motivated while moving towards their goals.

Oh yes, I will use these techniques as well. Some things I already do, but this lesson gives a complete tool kit!

Thank you!

Thank you very helpful

From experience the race is not always for the fastest one.So I decided to just enjoy the race at my own pace.Enjoy the process and appreciate the small fortune in the meantime.

Success is really a journey, not a destination. The amazing part for me is to realize how things that seem not to be related to the goal we want to achieve, appear at the end to be so necessary for it!!
Wonderful video Mike and of course, thank you very much :-)

Very well presented. Short and to the point.

You touch on every point that is necessary to reach a goal.
To reach a major goal - there are many minor goals to reach first, and as you say, each and every one of them should be celebrated. Each day is achieving another goal. So celebrate every day, as well as appreciate and be grateful.

Yes, all too often we look at that point in time where we feel we will be seen as a success by others or in our own eyes. Why not consider ourselves a success right now. We are. We are the successful product of our past behavior.
Tomorrow we will be the successful product of today's belief, behavior, thinking and feeling.

Glad I found you.

this guy should really take a course on public speaking, or maybe just some voice lessons....it will increase his results by 10 fold.

no charge for this advise....

Success - I believe - its something positive that enhances your life, or the life of those around you.

If you can do both - enhance your own life and that of others at the same time thats even better, and more spriritually rewarding maybe.

I think the main thrust was that we should celebrate any step we make in a positive direction - no matter how small that may be. Celebrate it! Write it down or tell someone - or both!
