I am a product of my genetics and heritage — my ancestors were omnivorous, so that’s what my body requires. I have read that cutting out 1 food group (say, carbs — or fats) will help you to lose weight and maintain a lower weight, and that cutting out 2 food groups (say, proteins & fats) will kill you. Fortunately, most edibles contain more than 1 food group!

Life is about balance. As the list above indicates, one needs to find the dietary program, physical and mental exercise program and the emotional support program for YOUR optimal health and well-being. It needs to work for you. The list above contains enough wisdom and generalities to cover the needs of most humans. Pick the program(s) that work for you and live life to your best levels.

To say you should do something or that something is automatically good for you because someone else did it before you is like saying “because people before me jumped off cliffs without parachutes, I should too”.
Cutting fats and protein out of your diet wouldn’t keep you healthy for long, but there are other alternatives to getting those into your body that are much healthier for you, like leafy greens and sprouted nuts, seeds, and grains, healthy oils, avocados. Your body can break down these proteins and fats much easier, which then keeps you slimmer. Plus you feel more energetic and clearer minded after a large salad full of veggies then you do after a greasy cheese burger.

The world is now turning to natural solutions for better health. Raw Cacao is the number one super antioxidant in the world. The Acai berry is the number two super antioxidant. Combined they are a potent super food. I want to educate people about Healthy Chocolate so they understand and are able to experience for themselves the value of eating this delicious dark chocolate. Health Canada has given their approval allowing the medical claims to go right on the box. The science behind the products is undeniable. For the many people who crave chocolate, this is a guilt free alternative. Some of the benefits include increased cardivascular health, reduced cholesterol and blood pressure and platelets in the blood; weight loss and loss of sugar cravings, increased energy and mood level. Results are generally seen within the first month of daily consumption.
