The “War” Between Vishen Lakhiani and Sean Stephenson

As you probably know by now, we featured Sean Stephenson on our blog a few months ago.

Sean is a good friend, so good in fact, we’ve hung out in four different countries in the last five months since we met.

We hung out with Richard Branson on his private island last May, in the British Virgin Islands.

We conducted a fun personal growth team retreat in Bali back in June, we spoke together at the Engage Today event in Calgary, Canada in September and in October we met up for a speakers and authors event at L.A.

So, like I said, Sean has been a good friend, UNTIL… two weeks ago.

You see, before that L.A. authors and speakers event, I happened to have traveled a lot, and so I couldn’t prevent myself from falling asleep during an important speech.

Now, here’s what happened next.

Sean that little devil filmed me falling asleep, and uploaded this video below to Facebook, until many people in my contact list saw the embarrassing moment.

After that, I swore I’d have my “revenge.”

Now, a lot of people know Sean as a brilliant inspiring motivational speaker, a guy who inspires others to lead the best lives, bla bla bla. Eh, whatever.

What many people don’t know is this: Sean Stephenson has his funny “dark side.”

And given that his new TV show is launching this weekend, I want this to go out to as many people as possible.

Watch this scandalous video of Sean and discover this “dark side” I’m talking about.

Enjoy.

Oh, and btw, when Sean’s television show launches, do NOT watch it.

BOYCOTT the TV show on the Bio Channel this Nov 15.

Read a book, bake lasagna, do anything except watching TV that day.

Sean is a disgrace to people in wheelchairs everywhere. Sean a best-selling author, inspiring speaker and stage legend?

Bah!

How about saboteur, playboy and 3-foot menace to society.

Ah, obviously, I’m kidding of course. :-)

Sean is an amazing guy.

Do tune in to his new TV show which launches this Sunday. It’s going to be fun and exciting.

Hi Fran. You’re right on. We are aiming for the lowest common denominator. You see, we want to get young people and teens to watch the show. And people who frankly are not into the whole “personal growth” thing.

Some of these “lowest common denominators“may not immediate get Sean’s message of aiming for big goals, or not letting your disabilities hold you back, or creating bonds and connections with others. But now they see a 3 ft guy in a wheelchair being the center of attention of a bunch of women. Now we’re speaking a language that some young people understand. That power to attract the opposite sex comes from self-esteem and confidence and not feeling held back by your disabilities. Yup, we now have a hook to get them interested in learning from our Sean. And now the major messages have a chance to spill over.

Yes this is a ruse. A ruse to get people who are not into self growth to see the power that comes when you take those first few steps to build up your confidence and self-esteem.

So frankly, I’m hoping this ruse works.

Sharing who you are with the world is a bold and confident thing to do. It is a testament to what you teach, and the joy that is brought to your life because of how you choose to live it.
Those who judge so quickly of how someone chooses to live their life have much to learn.

Keep sharing, those who resonate with you will always be there. those who don’t will leave.

I like the personal side, I think it keeps you real to those who are working on their self growth.

but you know all this ;o)
    i love the humor !!

This is what is wrong with the world today. Hurting someone in the name of fun — or humor — or wit — is WRONG. It was not funny in the vaudeville days, nor the sitcom days nor the reality tv show days nor the stupid movie days.

By doing this kind of sarcastic ploy you have totally trashed any message you could ever tell me in the future. I have lost all respect for you because of this immature message. And, I have lost respect for Sean as well.

You may be “only human” but you have a duty to your readers, and that is to treat them with the respect you want to receive.

    Good luck ever regaining that.…

    VISHON

I’ve read every comment and my favorite is from anonymous. Truly a genius in his own right and right on in terms of staying with the tone of all the excitement. Highly spiritual, not, but got a good laugh from me.

I can’t wait for Sean’s show to start. I’m going to take a nap in preparation.

When am I going to see the Vishon show?

PLEASE CORRECT MY SPELLING OF VISHEN. I spelled his name incorrectly twice, Vishon instead of Vishen in both of my messages.

    Sorry. Thanks.

    Hi guys,
I am new to your site, etc, so didn’t know anything about you or Sean at all befor this e-mail, but I immediately figured there was a “catch.” Obviously, you promote him, and your “revenge” was clearly a ruse (to me and many others) from the very first “scandal.“
I got a chuckle from the very start, and enjoyed seeing Sean’s real, unscripted personality come out! All those who overreacted to any percieved negativity REALLY need to look within themselves and ask “Why did I take offense to that?”

    Ah, the smell of controversy.

FinerMinds always portrayed itself to “Let FinerMinds be your daily dose of personal growth and let us help you transform your life one day at a time.”

Nowhere does it say “everything we tell you is carved in stone and you must bow down prostate before as we will transform your life”.

Information found on this blog has helped many achieve better versions of themselves, and at the same time it has made no impact on others.

It encourages choice. YOUR choice. Not the choice of FinerMinds.

Some people ADORED this exclusive peek into the lighter side of both Vishen & Sean. Some people HATED it. The outcome?

    EVERYBODY is talking about it.

And that ladies & gents is what I call genius.

    Vishen,
I think you and Sean are brave, caring, real people. I really loved the video. It’s something my family would do. Because of the love we feel for each other, no one is hurt just tickled. Keep up the great work. I couldn’t get the BIO station either. Hopefully, you can post it, I would love to see it. Namaste, Pat

I have enjoyed reading the comments — from everyone. I believe the people who have chosen to view this in a negative way are seeing Vishen as a bully who picks on people with disabilites! This certainly isn’t the case — he’s a good friend who can have a laugh with his mates.

The more people focus on the ‘physical’ the worse off we are. Sean would be the last person in the world to feel sorry for himself — look where he is…amazing isn’t it :) Sean would probably just sees it as doing what he is here to do — living his truth…reaching people and making a difference…and meeting interesting people along the way…

It is great to see open communication is alive and well — there are no blockages in the throat chakra — Both Vishen’s and Shaun’s intuitive paths are flowing freely — everyone is going to benefit from this…

Keep up the good work — Namaste

    Merry be to all.
I join with Veronica and Sonia. Saw no humor in it at all Comedic overtones and/are reasonable humor is more than welcome. This was not funny or enjoyable. It did not appeal to me, at least.

    Blessed be!
