Pretty cool video of Robin Sharma in Moscow. Not only does Robin showcase the beauty of this historic city, he also tells you the key elements of leadership with the I.M.A.G.E. acronym.

Andrew Carnegie isn't just the 2nd richest man in history. He's also a legend.
Born in Scotland in 1835, he and his parents moved to the States and is best known as a industrialist, businessman, and a major philanthropist.
He gave away most of his money to establish libraries, schools, and universities in the U.S., the U.K., and in other countries.
And even though he was rich, he wasn't an arrogant elitist. No, in fact he was and still is an inspiration to millions.
So if you're looking for success coupled with happiness, then check out these 4 tips by Andrew Carnegie.
If you have any other quotes or tips from Andrew Carnegie please share them with us.
“Aim for the highest.”
“You cannot push anyone up the ladder unless he is willing to climb.”
In the late 1800s there lived a very rich man. In fact, he was so rich that he is now considered the second richest man in history. And, at least as I remember it, he became an inspiration for Scrooge McDuck. Read More…

I'm crazy nervous about this but at the same time really excited (what's a word to describe nervous+excited? my dictionary is not helping me right now).
There's no easy way to say this, but I will be speaking from the same stage as Richard Branson, Sean Stephenson, and even the Dalai Lama.

I couldn't believe it at first. I am literally bursting with happiness and feel so uplifted to be even considered to speak at the same event as these giants.
And as one of our 230,000 FinerMinds readers I'm hoping you might get a chance to attend.
Alright so these are the details. The event (some of you already know this) is called Engage Today. It's happening September 30th to October 3rd, this year and it'll be held in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
This isn't any ol' conference. It comes with intent and the purpose to affect change on a global scale. What's even more amazing is that you're a part of this change too. The whole goal of the conference is to bring together world geniuses under one roof to create a catalyst for economic, social, and environmental change.
And here's where you come in. This conference is a place for individuals to learn how to adjust their methods of thinking for a new world. This is where you'll learn to use your passion to make a difference.
If that wasn't enough, check out some of the people speaking at this event.

assions. Not to mention a special evening concert with Bryan Adams and K.D. Lang.
So you know how I feel about this whole event. Now I want to know how you feel about it. Who would you want to meet the most and why. For me it was always Richard Branson. His stance on social entrepreneurship and all of his efforts to help the environment and society are immense but now I can't wait to meet the His Holiness the XIVth Dalai Lama. So what I want from you is this:
If you could meet one of these amazing global leaders,
WHO would it be and why?
Drop a comment below and share your thoughts. Just imagine the conversation and what you could learn from them.
Cheers,
Vishen Lakhiani
P.S. We've got an amazing interview coming up with Greg Habstritt, the founder of Engage Today. So stay tuned for it.
P.P.S. Soon I'll also be sharing with you how you can join us at Engage Today, and will reveal to you the amazing surprises waiting for all the early-birds. Looking forward to see you at this very special event!

Richard Branson and me
I recently experienced one of the highlights of my life.
If any of you know me at all, then you'll know that meeting Richard Branson has been one of my biggest dreams. He's been a true source of inspiration to me and it's all because of how he defines business and entrepreneurship.
It used to be that the only things that defined success were money and the number of people working under you. Well, with Branson, that's not it at all. For him the definition of business means being ethical in all that you do, treating your employees right, and mostly -- having fun. Lots of it.
So how did I end up on his private island?
Alright, so back to my dream of meeting Richard Branson. I honestly thought it would take me 5 or even 10 years to do this. You know, to build up credibility and success as an entrepreneur, the typical way to meet anybody famous and wildly successful. Read More…

A couple weeks ago, FinerMinds' parent company, MindValley, went on a company retreat. Now before you picture convention rooms and bad lighting, let me tell you where we went.
Bali, Indonesia.
If you think we're crazy for going all the way to Bali, we're not (well, maybe just a little bit). Because we're based out of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia it only cost $10,000 for 46 people to stay in Bali for 3 beautiful, starry nights.
At MindValley, we're not just any boring company. When I said 46 people, what I really wanted to say was 43 people from 17 different countries and 3 amazing kids.
All the amazing interviews we've had on FinerMinds, the exclusive content, the growth of the FinerMinds community is credited to the employees of MindValley who continually strive for personal growth for themselves and for you, the readers, and the world we live in.

In this world of hard sales, pushy clerks, and media overload, it's difficult to see how marketing can be something less than ferocious or harmful.
So for those working in the field of marketing or even for someone starting up their own business, how do you sell without selling out your customers? Well maybe there is a way, so long as you keep your customers' needs in your intentions.
I want to introduce you to Judith Sherven, PhD and Jim Sniechowski, PhD. Here is a message from them that bridges the gap between spirituality and the fast-paced world of marketing. Read More…

In this fast paced, go go go world, it's no wonder that you're stuck doing a billion things at the same time.
The word multitask comes up all the time. They talk about in school, employers list it as a requirement, and we all put so much emphasis on the ability to multitask that we sometimes forget to ask, "Is multitasking really helping me?"
Well the truth is that there is no such thing as multitasking. What really happens is that we end up switchtasking. Our mind just switches from one task to another giving the appearance of multitasking. This is why people shouldn't use their cell phones when they're driving. If people could truly do two things simultaneously, then there would be no accidents arising from a cell phone/driving combo.
What marketing guru Alex Mandossian suggests instead is stacking.

Love it or hate it, addicted or not, the internet has revolutionized the world. Not only can I find out the GDP of Uganda but I can also find out if my friends were at a certain party.
But all that aside, the internet has indeed changed our lives for the better.
Thanks to it, you can:
There are many websites available on the internet which help you do the above. Lately however, there has been a lot of buzz surrounding this thing you may have heard of called Twitter... and rightly so.
