You wake up in the morning and you just don't feel like doing anything. Or worse yet, you dread going into work.

Well, fear not. I stumbled upon this article that'll give you the tips and tricks that'll get you through any day. Even if you woke up on the wrong side of the bed.

There's some pretty neat stuff here, but I'd love to hear what you have to say about doing work when you don't feel like it.

Drop a comment below and give us your secret tips.

How To Remain Productive When You Feel Like Giving Up

From Entrepreneurs-Journey.com

Like most people, some mornings I wake up and feel less than enthusiastic about working. Sometimes, this feeling doesn’t stem from laziness or apathy, it’s a stronger power, a sense of futility and helplessness.

I know a lot of people look to my story of success as a source of inspiration and that is one of the greatest benefits I enjoy as a blogger, but – and I’m not afraid to admit it – I don’t always feel energized to pursue business and sometimes in my darkest moments, I even consider throwing in the towel.

This feeling is not so common for me now as I have lifestyle flexibility, a more stable income and a better mindset about work, but earlier on, it definitely was a problem. I want to explain how I overcome these moments (and still do the same thing now on occasion) to stay on track and how you can even have a productive day when you are not really feeling the mojo on the inside.

I expect you have felt similar feelings of despair or a lack of motivation at different stages of your business development, especially if you are yet to establish an income stream online that is sufficient for you to live off, or if you are right at the beginning and you have not seen one cent of return for the work you have put in.

Inspired or Dejected

Depending on your world view and personality style, when you hear of the success of others you may either feel inspired or dejected, and while it’s obviously more fruitful to look at other people achieving what you desire as motivation, as a fallible human, jealousy, depression and anger may be your initial responses.

Your mind is your greatest asset for success in business, but it can be just as strong a force of hindrance, sabotaging your efforts, destroying your work ethic and leaving you with no option but to return to the soul destroying job you promised yourself that you would never go back to.

How To Work When You Don’t Feel Like It

One of the characteristics I believe is at the heart of my success and the success of most entrepreneurs, is an ability to keep working in the face of failure and an ability to force yourself to be productive when you don’t feel like it.

With start of Ramadan approaching on Saturday, I thought it'd be apt to put up a guide to the benefits of fasting. Whether you're religious or not, fasting is something that has permeated every culture, religion, and history.

And for good reason. It doesn't matter if you're doing it for religious reasons or health reasons, fasting can be a way to rejuvenate the body, mind, and soul.

Enjoy these 5 benefits and if you're currently fasting or will be in the near future, drop a comment. I'd love to hear what your reasons were for your decision.

1. Retune your digestive system

Not many people know this but fasting can be a way for you to give your digestive system a tune up. According to Dr. Naomi Neufeld, an endocrinologist at UCLA, "You re-tune the body, suppress insulin secretion, reduce the taste for sugar, so sugar becomes something you're less fond of taking."

What happens is that the body eventually uses up the stored sugar (glycogen) so that less insultin is needed to help the body digest food. And that gives your pancreas a rest.

2. Reduce your intake of free radicals

Mark Mattson, a scientist with the National Institute on Aging, has reported that fasting can reduce your intake of free radicals, which can cause cancer. In fact, according to Mattson, "These free radicals will attack proteins, DNA, the nucleus of cells, the membranes of cells. They can damage all those different molecules in cells."

Even just reducing your calorie intake can have the same effects as a fast. In a study amongst rats and mice, it was noted that those who were fed very little and restricted in their food intake had a reduction in disease compared to those who were fed normal daily diets.

3. Speed up your journey to self-discovery

We are all creatures of habit. And eating, just like smoking and sleeping, is a habit. What happens during a fast is that by taking away such an essential part of your daily routine, you mess up your whole schedule. This sounds bad but it's not. It's really a time to reflect on your routines and give you a pause to think about how you want your life to move forward.

By fasting, you become more conscious of yourself and you can take the time usually spent eating to meditate, journal, or do any other form of reflection.

4. Increase your gratitude

How could you not be grateful to break your fast? And after each day when you do break fast, it's a celebration. A celebration for a completed day of fasting, reflection, and persistence. So rejoice and celebrate your success! Show gratitude to yourself and others.

And when you break your fast, you will be very very happy to taste food again. And contrary to some beliefs, you won't binge on food. In fact you will be more conscious of what you allow into your body and feel gratitude for the food you receive.

5. Launch yourself into your ideal life

Sounds like a pretty big benefit for something as simple as fasting. But it's true. When you begin your fast you can take this time to break old patterns, examine your current situation, and use it as the starting point for a whole new life.

What really makes this possible is that by fasting you are exhibiting control over yourself and your situation. And controlling your eating habits may be one of the hardest things to do. For each day you complete a successful fast, you condition your mind into to believe it can and will do anything. You are training your mind to be successful. And after days of a successful fasting your mind will be neurologically conditioned for success.

So the next time you set a goal for yourself, it'll be easier to attain!

There are tons more reasons why fasting can be good for you and before you begin a fast, check out some resources for the safest and best way to do so.

Let's face it. Not everyone is a morning person. Least of all me. But we still drag ourselves out of our cozy beds each day to live our lives.

To be honest, I just woke up and feel like going back to bed but what's a better time than now to write about having a great morning?

So I did some research, looked at the hardest parts of anyone's morning, and came up with this quick 5-step guide to getting the best out of every morning so that the rest of your day is absolutely amazing.

Step 1: Get A Good Night's Sleep

Probably the most important. You can do all the morning rituals you want but if you didn't get enough quality sleep, then you'll still be missing out on your full morning potential.

Now not everyone's the same. Some people only need 6 whereas I need a good 9 hours. Figure out where you stand and make it your target to get that amount of sleep every night. Of course, a little late night partying is allowed every now and then, just don't over do it.

Here are some quick tips on getting a better night's sleep:

Meditate - clearing your mind can do wonders for getting you into deep sleep right away instead of staring at the ceiling for hours.

Avoid caffeine and alcohol in the evenings.

Make going your bed a place of sleep. This means no eating or working in bed. You want to identify sleep with your bed and nothing more. Except maybe for some fun in the sheets

If you're the type of person who can't shut off their minds, write a list of all the things you need to do tomorrow. This gets them out of your head and organized so you won't lose sleep over tasks.

If you suffer from a sleeping disorder or sleep apnea, be sure to consult your physician about it.

Step 2: Spend Some Alone Me-Time

Set aside a block of time just for yourself. Even if it's just for 20 minutes. We live in such a connected and busy world it's often hard to remember to focus on just you. Not your family, not your pets, not your boss, your mortgage, etc. Just you.

If you ever get the feeling you don't know yourself anymore then it's time to take a break, do something you love alone, and take the time to focus on who you are. If you're only always surrounded by people your personal growth may stagnate.

So here are some ideas to get you on that road of self-discovery and enjoy your own company:

Pray

Meditate

Exercise

Write in your journal

Read that book you've been meaning to but can't seem to find enough time

Do something creative, such as painting or drawing

You get the idea. The point is to do something you love, do it alone, and focus on just you.

Step 3: Drink Plenty Of Water And Eat A Healthy Breakfast

Breakfast is the foundation of any nutritional diet. So eat up. Just make sure it's healthy. Eating breakfast will energize you get your brain going faster. Don't underestimate the importance of this meal.

Most people don't get enough water. So make it part of your daily morning routine to drink one big glass of water. We often wake up dehydrated and don't know it. So before you go for your coffee, have some water first.

Step 4: Be Productive From The Get-Go

When you get to work, don't spend time procrastinating. We all do this at one point or another. We know we have Task A, B, and C to do but instead we check Twitter, Facebook, our emails, or surf the net.

This is extremely unproductive and will get you into a bad routine. Instead go straight into what you need to do. This'll create momentum and encouragement for you to finish everything else on your To-Do list. But of course, we all need breaks.

So schedule 10 to 15 minute breaks in between tasks for you to relax and entertain your distractions for a while. But be disciplined. Once your scheduled break is up, go back to your goals for the day.

Step 5: Outline Your Top 3 Most Important Tasks (M.I.T.s) And Do These First

These are the tasks that you absolutely need to get done. And often they're the ones that you want to do the least. Well, suck it up and do them. This gives you a great boost of accomplishment each morning and will make the rest of your day easier, happier, and smoother.

This also ingrains good habits within you. The next time you set out a huge goal for yourself you'll be more likely to finish it as your mind is conditioned to take challenges straight on and finish them. You'll end up with that "Yes, I can" attitude.

Thanks for reading guys,

Gabrielle Lim

P.S. I'd love to know more about how you get yourself pumped up everyday, so drop me a comment and share some of your insights.

He's one of the most celebrated healers in the world and is one of our top 5 most viewed and highest rated contributors to FinerMinds.

If you don't believe me then just have a look at what some FinerMinds' readers are saying:

"Wonderful advice, thank you very much. I used the technique on a number of people, including my husband but I didn’t really believed him when he said the back pain he had was gone. The other evening, my 11 years old son accused an acute ache on his right knee. Without telling him I applied your teaching and within minutes he forgot he ever had experienced that ferocious pain. Thank you very much again, I will continue to do this because I saw it work with my very own eyes. Be blessed."

- Maya

"Master Chunyi Lin, I have trouble expressing in words, how much this has helped my family! The Finer Minds site was smart enough to invite you to be a teacher with them, and they were so fortunate that you accepted. In my family, 1 son has been paraplegic for more than 4 years, he has rods in his back and both legs. Pain in back has been constant dweller, very bad.

I have been using the Spring Forest QiGong, and Sword Fingers, with him, for the first time in 4 years he has been able to sleep through night, pain not waking him, much work to be done for day- i am ready for it! Thankyou Vishen, Namaste’ Master Lin
I love you both."

- Nancy F.

"Dear Chunyi Lin,

Thank you so much for sharing your gift, i am so at peace finally, and now understand what it is all about. This is what i have been searching for , all my life! i have now finally come home. Only now can i fully understand the meaning of serving my fellow man and woman, from a place of inner peace and pure love. How could i not have loved myself for so many years? How easy it is to forgive, and to replace it all with love!! I am so grateful for this lesson, and am so blessed to have come in contact with you!!"

- Belita

So you can see that we really didn't have a choice but to set up an interview with him. We were receiving so many questions about Chunyi and qigong, that we had to talk to him about doing an interview to satisfy the amount of requests coming in.

Chunyi was kind enough to share his knowledge once again and this time you'll learn the true reason why qigong and other forms of energy healing work.

He also divulges the 4 essential steps that everyone needs to know in order to heal themselves and others. He even talks about losing weight and vanishing tumors and a Qi-ssage, which is a mixture of qigong healing and massage techniques.

What I love most about Chunyi and his methods of healing is that they're all based on unconditional love, which is something I know all of you have.

Cheers,

Vishen

P.S. Alright, this is meant for only advanced meditators but he'll even share with you the 5-day advanced cave meditation exercise. It's not for the faint of heart but it's definitely something I'll be working towards.

If you're unfamiliar with this spiritual drug of choice, it's a combination of tree bark, some other plants, and of course the ayahuasca vine. And to those familiar with its street name, it's also known as yaje.

This elixir is definitely not for the novice and is used to achieve a trancelike state that is reputed to cleanse the body and mind and even make connection with the spirit world possible.

What's really surprising is that this type of drug tourism has brought in a huge number of tourists from the western world, with some paying up to thousands of dollars to stay in special lodges and have the natives there guide them through the ayahuasca rituals.

Ayahuasca has been used for every problem you can think of. If you have an emotional, physical, or psychological problem, try ayahuasca. If you have an addiction to prescription drugs, drink some ayahuasca. It's even been purported to allow time travel so that you can go back and confront your childhood traumas.

Down the Amazon in Search of Ayahuasca

by John Otis

Although his parents urged him to study medicine, Jimmy Weiskopf dropped out of college and in the 1970s moved to Colombia, where he eventually began to focus on a different kind of elixir. The New York City native became an early advocate for the hallucinogenic plant mixture ayahuasca. For centuries, Amazonian Indians have been drinking ayahuasca, also known as yaje — a combination of the ayahuasca vine, tree bark and other plants — to achieve a trancelike state that they believe cleanses body and mind and enables communication with spirits. Weiskopf, who has published a 688-page tome about ayahuasca, was once among a tiny coterie of foreigners using the potion, but these days he has lots of company.

Word of ayahuasca's healing properties has brought a growing number of New Age tourists from the U.S. and Europe, some of whom pay thousands of dollars to stay at jungle lodges where Indian medicine men guide them through all-night ayahuasca rituals. Sting and Tori Amos have admitted sampling it in Latin America, where it is legal, as has Paul Simon, who chronicled the experience in his song "Spirit Voices." "It heals the body and the spirit," says Eustacio Payaguaje, 51, a Cofán Indian shaman who regularly treks to Bogotá to lead weekend ayahuasca ceremonies in the city. "It is medicine for the soul."

But as the subtitle of Weiskopf's 2004 book, Yaje: The New Purgatory, suggests, ayahuasca is not for the faint of heart — or stomach. Drinking a few ounces of the sludgy brown liquid usually leads to a violent purge from both ends of the body. Beat Generation novelist William Burroughs, seeking to get high on Colombian ayahuasca in the early 1960s, described hurling himself against a tree and barfing six times. At a recent ceremony on the outskirts of Bogotá, most of the 40 participants packed sleeping bags, water bottles — and rolls of toilet paper. Sting, in a Rolling Stone interview, made clear that ayahuasca is no party drug. "There's a certain amount of dread attached to taking it," the singer said. "You have a hallucinogenic trip that deals with death and your mortality. So it's quite an ordeal. It's not something you're going to score and have a great time on."

How much do you really know about your mind's ability to influence your body? How far have you pushed your mind?

And I mean really pushed your it.

Yes, most of you out there know just how powerful your mind is but have you used it as a tool for healing? A savior for your health? I know these are pretty big words but when you consider the countless stories of people curing the incurable, terminal illnesses disappearing, and rapid recovery from all sorts of ailments using just the mind, it's hard not to call your mind your #1 healer.

While most of you just love going to the doctor's and paying those hefty fees for consultations and pharmaceutical drugs, consider this: A pain-free life, where you are so in tune with your body you know you're going to be sick before it happens. You know exactly how to stop it, heal it, and prevent it.

Sound too good to be true? I used to think so but just check out these stories below:

“Last August my daughter was diagnosed with a reoccurrence of breast cancer—Stage 4, metastasized all over her body. She decided not to undergo whole brain radiation and chemotherapy the doctors suggested.

She is using all natural healing methods, organic juice, food, and supplements—and meditation. I have been helping her by using Silva healing techniques, visualizing the cancer going away—and it is! 8 months later, the cancer is more than half gone. I am sure the Silva Method has played a significant role in her healing. Thanks a lot—”

- Barbara Szabo

"M.R., a lieutenant in the US Navy, has suffered of some heart arrhythmia and was prohibited to be on a flight. He explained 'I came to the Alpha level frequently and envisioned a perfect heart with no defects. Three weeks later I was examined. No mitral valve prolapse! A congenital defect of thirty- three years had disappeared. All the diagnostic equipment and tests revealed a perfect heart. I was returned to flight status.'”

- Louise Owen, United States

So you may have noticed the connection between the two. And that would be Silva. As some of you may know, the Silva Method has transformed my life in the past so I know, firsthand, that this isn't just false hope or a coincidence. These stories are real and they are a testament to how your mind can take back control of your body and health.

My own experience of Silva started when I was 17. I started the book Silva Mind Control Method (its name pre-1980s) and underwent some major breakthroughs that had a direct impact on my health. This was how amazing the Silva Method worked for me. A skin condition I had for 5 years cleared up in 5 weeks after I applied Jose Silva's imagery technique to focus on healing.

Later at the age of 17 I took the seminar and my abilities to heal myself only accelerated. I remember once injuring my foot while practising martial arts. We were given an exercise to practice kicking a brick wall and stopping our foot a few inches before striking the wall.

It was an exercise that required total focus and concentration. Except at the last minute the phone rang, distracting me and causing my foot to go further than it should and WHAM against the wall. What a difference a few inches makes. This caused a massive swelling in my foot and a hairline fracture.

I sat down in pain and went into my Silva meditation level (also known as the "Alpha" level) and applied the Pain Control technique I had learned in the seminar. Within minutes I was able to reduce the pain, bring down the swelling and make myself well enough to walk and go visit a doctor.

And do you know what the best part of all of this is? It's that YOU, just like the people in the stories above and me, can be a self-healer too. This is a power that all of you have. It's just incubating in your mind. Waiting to be woken up!

I'd love to hear your take on all of this and if you think your story isn't big enough to share (it doesn't always have to be about cancer), you're wrong. Every story counts and is an inspiration so if you have any healing stories you'd like to share, please tell us in the comments below.

To rediscover your natural healing abilities read this letter from Laura Silva herself >>

Yes, and, if you’re ever been a fan of movies, it almost certainly already has….and not just once.

Movies have inspired us ever since their inception a century ago. Not ALL movies. Certainly not. Films that degrade our humanity with graphic and senseless violence have the opposite effect of inspiration; however, the legacy of film is overflowing with films that show us who we are, and can be, as a species when we operate at our very best.

If we see a particular film at just the right moment in our lives, it can inspire, thrill, and entertain us, and also literally change our perception of who we are.

Editors Note: Stephen Simon co-founded www.spiritualcinemacircle.com. He produced such films as WHAT DREAMS MAY COME, ALL THE RIGHT MOVES, and SOMEWHERE IN TIME and both directed and produced the film version of CONVERSATIONS WITH GOD.

Please consider, for example, a classic film such as IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE. If you see that film at a moment in your life when all seems bleak, and you see George Bailey realize how much love he has indeed given and received, it can instantly change your own perceptions. “NO man is a failure who has friends” can also lift you from one mood into another.

What if you don’t know how you’re going to manifest your dreams and you see FIELD OF DREAMS. “If you build it, they will come”, is so simple and so profound that it can instantaneously move you from worry to excitement.

What if you have lost the person you thought was the only love of your life? Your one “true” soul mate? And then you see SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE and realize that “it” can happen more than once?

All of those are life-changing moments if we allow them to be.

Movies are the greatest communication medium ever invented. In a film, we can receive glimpses of our potential, our dreams, our hopes, and our ambitions, in a way that is unparalleled in any other medium.

I have produced, and recently directed, films for over thirty years. Some I am very proud of, some I have mixed feelings about, and some I don’t mention!! The movies about which I am the most proud (SOMEWHERE IN TIME, WHAT DREAMS MAY COME, and CONVERSATIONS WITH GOD) all were made with the hopes of inspiring those who were drawn to experience them.

Hollywood, however, has changed drastically over the last decade or so, and not for the better. We can no longer count on the studios to produce the kind of films that seek to inspire and uplift us. Every once in a while, that kind of film does slip through the cracks of the Hollywood marketing machine but not often. That mission has now been undertaken by the independent film world.

Art house theaters and film festivals around the world are now the venues where hope and inspiration reside. The challenge for all of us who love those kinds of movies is that we can’t go to all those festivals, and many of us don’t even have art house theaters near us.

And that’s why we formed The Spiritual Cinema Circle. Every month, we send four films to the members of our community that they then own and can add to their DVD collections. Each volume consists of three shorts (or two shorts and a documentary) and a feature film. On each volume, a filmmaker and a member of our community join me for in-depth discussions of each film. We have subscribers in all fifty of the United States and in 70 countries around the world.

70 to 80 percent of the films we distribute are unavailable through other distributors. You won’t find most of them at Netflix or Blockbuster.

Our community members own the films they receive each month. When you build your own film library, you just might have the appropriate film to show to a friend or family member who is looking for some inspiration. We hear from our community all the time, through emails and our message boards, that they had just the right movie at the right moment to show a friend.

Here are the trailers of the current month movies:

Sometimes, that can even change their lives.

I invite you to join us. Through movies that uplift and inspire our souls, we can indeed change the world…one film at a time.

"About Chakras

The chakras are the seven main energy centers in the body. They are located along the spine, starting at the base running upwards to the crown of the head. Each chakra radiates a specific color and energy and relates to specific spiritual, emotional, psychological and body issues. Balancing of these energy centers with conscious awareness.leads to well-being.

The seventh Chakra - Universal Connection, Sahasrara (thousand petaled), is located at the crown of the head. Its color is white or violet and its issues are devotion, inspiration, selflessness, and spiritual understanding.

The sixth Chakra - Perception, Ajna (to perceive), is located between the eyebrows, just above the bridge of the nose. Its color is indigo blue and its issues are psychic, emotional and mental intelligence.

The fifth Chakra - Commuication, Vissudha (purification), is located at the throat. Its color is bright blue and its issues are communication, inspiration, expression, and faith.
