I know some people of 40 who are 70. Age is not about how old you are, rather a state of mind and an attitude and Susie is evidence of this. Life is not about the number of breaths we take, rather about the number of times our breath is taken away! Love it.

What makes the daughter so sure that her Mom will live longer by doing the chemo?

I know a 65-year old who had the best chemo and treatments. He was gone less than 6 months after his cancer diagnosis.

The statistics of cancer recovery are intentionally skewed. We are stuck in a belief system that favors chemo, but the facts re: many types of cancer don’t justify the treatment.

When is this paradigm going to shift??

I think that your state of mind makes the differences. She also lives by her words of using the muscles available to her such as her mind her body and why not her spirit. Very encouraging!

She is a gal after my own heart. I am 73 and have always believed that trying to save my life from a disease is not my preference. Rather live what I have to the best of my ability raising the immune system with great thoughts and positive attitudes. It wouldn’t surprise me if she lives to over a 100.
She’s right too about death..It truly is not what everyone thinks it is, it is just another portal of experiences. Just ask men like Dannion Brinkley who died and came back more than once.
