Don’t Get Weird On Me, But People Don’t Like You…

by Gabrielle Lim0

friends... Okay, not all people, but some people don't.

It's a fact of life. You may have learnt it when you were 6 or you may be just learning it now, but face the facts. Not everyone is going to like you, even though you are an amazing person.

The worst thing about trying to please everyone is that you forget to focus on the positive relationships in your life. If you spend all your time trying to make everyone happy and like you then you're spreading your energy way too thin.

You'll end up missing out on some of the best relationships in your life. And if you keep this up long enough, those positive, strong relations will start to unravel. Don't let that happen.

Here's a great article that speaks plainly about what I just said. Not everyone will like you and in fact you can turn that around and make it a blessing in your life. Read More…

What Color Are You? 7 Colors That Are Linked To Your Personality

by Gabrielle Lim7

colors meaningsRemember those cheap mood rings you used to get from cereal boxes and vending machines and how each color represented your feelings?  Well there may be some truth to that.

Scientists, metaphysicists, and new age followers all have been interested in the power of colors. From marketing to personal development, colors play a very important role in our lives.

If you're interested, here's a pretty interesting article that might be more accurate than you think. The colors you surround yourself with and are drawn to may be reflective of your being. It's also a great guide for anyone decorating their home.

Paulo Coelho Also A Modern Day Pirate

by Gabrielle Lim2

paulo coelhoSome of you may have heard about the recent controversy surrounding thepiratebay.org, the file sharing website. It caused a pretty big media splash and brought up some pretty interesting points.

Now I'm not saying we support breaching intellectual copyright laws or pirating people's hard work, but it's nice to see an author who really isn't in it for the money.

Paulo Coelho, author of The Alchemist, has publicly supported giving away his works for free. There's even a whole blog dedicated to this called PirateCoelho. This website was mentioned by the official Paulo Coelho website too.

I love when authors do this. It not only gets people reading but it also helps spread enlightened ideas.

Click here to check out Pirate Coelho >>

You can find links to all of Coelho's works and what's going on in the media piracy world.
