Showing gratitude is the single most effective way of changing your life. How else would we be aware of how fabulous our lives are? And even when things aren't going exactly the way you want it to, you'll still remember how awesome your life is.
Some of you may already be practicing daily gratitude but if you're not, I'd like to introduce you to some truths about gratitude by Chris Guillebeau. He outlines the basics of gratitude and the whys behind it.
You can never have enough gratitude, that's for sure.
Even though we're all grown up now, I think we can still appreciate the importance of recess. I still cherish the short breaks from work where I can surf the net, read a book, grab a coffee, or catch up with a coworker. You can say that our breaks are really our recesses.
I would have to say that this is in my list of top 5 favorite poems. I'm talking about Desiderata by Max Ehrmann. There's been some myth surrounding this poem but regardless of its history, Ehrmann nailed it.
